4.8 is a pretty good shake for the east coast with non-earthquake buildings

Yup—I was surprised it was that high. I believe serious damage begins around magnitude 5, I think? Where I was located at the time was around 2.2 or so, it wasn’t that bad. However, it felt like a piece of heavy machinery was rolling in our back lot——the sounds and shake was consistent and lasted about 8-10 seconds.
It’s a warning sign from God telling them to repent and turn to Jesus before it’s too late.
