Yup—I was surprised it was that high. I believe serious damage begins around magnitude 5, I think? Where I was located at the time was around 2.2 or so, it wasn’t that bad. However, it felt like a piece of heavy machinery was rolling in our back lot——the sounds and shake was consistent and lasted about 8-10 seconds.

That is pretty much exactly what I felt with this one today. I called the local water department to see if they were doing some work in the area since I thought the sound and shake may have been due to pressure building in the plumbing, but as I was on the phone with the water dept. a friend from Philadelphia sent a text to a group chat I am part of, asking if everyone just felt that quake. Pretty wide area as I am in NJ about 2 hours north of Philly.
