A team of vigilante hackers carrying out cyber-attacks against Russia has been sent awards of gratitude by Ukraine's military.

The team, One Fist*, has stolen data from Russian military firms and hacked cameras to spy on troops.

The certificates are a controversial sign of how modern warfare is shifting. [excerpt]

*One Fist is made up of hackers from eight different countries including the UK, US and Poland.

Every person wittingly or unwittingly helps Putin to commit the atrocities and illegal activities bear a heavy responsibility for what is happening and will happen as a result of this help

Are you guys invited to the house-warming for Zelensky’s new United Kingdom mansion that was paid for using US taxpayer money?
…………………………………………………………………………………
LOL! You still pushing Kazan’s outright lie? That estate is entailed. Property of the Crown and can’t be sold. Only an ignorant Ruxxian would not know that.
*********************************************************************

See post 54 above. So now I’m Ruxxian now instead of Ruzzian? Good to know.

By the way, is Ruxxia close to Ruzzia? I’m having difficulty locating either on the map. It’s good to know where your folks come from. Apparently my family members were wrong when they claimed we were of German and Scots-Irish descent.

Did you post the Eagle Praying For America meme TWICE in a row to show us how much you love America?

No one would believe you if you posted it a MILLION times, mommy.

Well, except maybe your Flying Monkeys.

“No one believes you”

???

Again, your assumptions are incorrect.

I am not here to dictate and impose my point of view on others. Let us respect that we each share mutual freedom of thought and of expression regardless of our differing viewpoints.

If Ukraine is sending 15 year olds to the front, why is the legislature being asked to reduce the drafting age from 27 to 25?

It has been clearly pointed out at another FR thread that the story of Zelensky’s new United Kingdom mansion was a complete HOAX. The property in question cannot be sold without approval from Parliament and they are even slower than our government. Also unlikely to ever be approved since it is also ROYAL property.

One slight correction...a non-Crown property, in the UK and in the Commonwealth, to ANYONE who is NOT a citizen of the UK and the Commonwealth, needs to be passed on by Parliament. It entails legally drawn up and notorized papers from the purchaser, as well as ALL of the names of those who shall reside therein. It is NOT a swift process.

Crown properties may NOT be sold; period! Yes, some may be "gifted"; however, that just means that the person/s so "gifted" are allowed to live there, but MUST pay for the upkeep and any improvements made to it. IT MAY NOT BE SOLD BY THE PERSON/S SO GIFTED! It can also be taken away from the person/s by the Queen or King who "gifted" said property. Neither can said property be left to the heirs of the "gifted" person/s.

See post 54 up thread.

You have more class in your pinky finger than the typical zeeper has in his/her entire body.

I have yet to see a zeeper admit to being wrong, even when the evidence is right in front of them.

When you look for one statement, somewhere, that someone made, take it out of context, extrapolate it in meaning, and ignore the fact that hot heads right now are making all sorts of big statements on BOTH sides, you can find this sort of junk to use as an argument.

Go look at some of the statements made by US Congressmen and media pundits post 9-11 where we had folks advocate the use of nukes, invading Iran, disposing of the king of Saudi Arabia, booting all Muslims from the US, closing Mosques...

No, Russia doesn’t even want all of Ukraine. That would be a nightmare for them no different than us in Afghanistan (on hostile ground). They are however interested in those areas we pretend do not even exist in our non-propagandist and always factual media, the largely ethic Russian areas.

Russia isn’t even close to capable of being the sort of threat they were in the Cold War and threatening a broad far reaching invasion of the West... All this blabbering about Russia invading this and that is idiotic trash talk for the ignorant masses. What are the Russians going to do that with? A military that now in a war and with mobilization is STILL smaller than ours, with less and weaker allies, with less industrial capacity, less population, less high tech...?

Russia has the means of meeting their limited military and political objectives in Ukraine, but even that is difficult for them. The idea that they are going to continue and go for more is simply put, nonsense. That is political BS our politicians spew in order to get support for this war they caused. But it’s not even remotely feasible.

No, Russia doesn’t even want all of Ukraine.

Why do they say they do, then? Medvedev was just repeating what's been part of the Muskovite catechism for centuries. Putin said as much to that fool Carlson. I've posted at least three other sources. Do I need to repeat?

They didn’t. I watched the Carlson interview. That’s out of context. Putin was talking about how historically Ukraine at times was part of Russia.

Russia does not want western Ukraine because those areas are nationalist Ukrainian and it would be a nightmare going there and trying to keep this area. In fact, that was done before and they had problems back then too.

This is not exact, but shows the divide: https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/worldviews/files/2013/12/Ethnolingusitic_map_of_ukraine.png

In the West, where we today don’t want mention the fact that many of the folks in the East Ukraine are ethic Russians, that Ukraine banned the use of the Russian language, closed orthodox churches, send Nazi thugs there (which our Congress wanted to add to the list of terrorist organizations until the CIA and state department got involved) that were used to put down the problems Ukraine was having there...

Ukraine is not a homogeneous nation and some folks correctly described this conflict in Ukraine as a civil war. But we chose sides and got involved because of economic and political interests on the side of the nationalists who we put in power and do our bidding. Post 2014 (Maiden) we purged all Russian influence but it was us being brazen enough to push this NATO BS to tip this over into a war. We caused this war. This is our war and the government in Kiev does what we say. Heck, we put half of the key folks in charge in Kiev in power! We caused it with our NATO BS, we keep it going, we can end it quickly if we wanted.

Stop pretending Russia is some bad guy. They aren’t the ones that invaded Iraq under false pretences in 2003. Bombed Libya and started a civil war there, causing that country to be in a perpetual civil war. Invaded Syria pretending it’s about WMD again but where we’re guarding oil fields today. Started a coups in Venezuela and got caught...

Post Cold War and 9-11 we have become more and more assertive, flexing our military muscle to serve political and economic interests and talking about democracy, human rights, sovereignty or WMD as we do. Today we threaten to invade, then just bomb our southern neighbor and NAFTA member because it serves as a political sound bite: https://youtu.be/mKe8HHC0GiE?si=6nAwNHopKZOymSG_ That’s not Russia, that’s us.

https://www.acton.org/research/lord-acton-quote-archive There is a quote that is accurate about what has happened.

Post Cold War we were left as the only worlds super power.

Post 9-11 left us on a far more offensive, expansionist, spread over the globe footing. Even NATO was reformed to not merely be defensive and Europe centric.

Our policy makers today are quick to use force because it’s an easy way to achieve what they want, quickly. If my neighbor don’t do what I want, I can beat the shit out of him until he does what I want, and there isn’t anyone to stop me. “Democracy, human rights, sovereignty, WMD” are just BS slogans so that the masses feel like we’re the good guys when we invade some places.

“I agree. I just checked and that news story saying so was FAKE. My apologies.”

No problem. It can happen! :)

Sometimes, an article will align with our personal viewpoint that causes speculation without factual support or incomplete evidence.

That’s why FR is such a great site for topical review and to provide factual information. And, lets face it, we trust Free Republic discussions for this reason!

Since 2001, name me one place that we invaded, bombed, or sponsored a coups that today has better human rights or democracy?

But I can tell you a lot of places that we bombed where we today control the flow of oil or gas from.

If human rights and democracy are guiding our foreign policies and military interventions, then when are we getting rid of the king in Saudi Arabia? When are we getting rid of the king in Jordan? When are we throttling our investments and imports of communist Chinese products?

Sovereignty, democracy, human rights, WMD, are fake arguments we use to motivate the folk to get behind some military intervention on behalf of someone already extremely wealthy that wants to make even more.

You’re parroting the Moscow line justifying the invasion so closely I’m not sure you’re not a ‘bot. I’ve already posted sources of actual history that you’ve studiously ignored, so I’m going to return the favor. I can’t keep fisking you people over and over.
