Democrats are eyeing Florida as a state they can make gains in as it is on the verge of having one of the strictest abortion bans in the country and abortion rights will be directly on the ballot there in November.
The Florida Supreme Court upheld the state's 15-week abortion ban on Monday and paved the way for a six week ban to go into effect in 30 days. Six weeks is often before a woman knows she is pregnant.
The ruling was met with outrage by Democrats and abortion rights activists in the state and nationally, but it could also be an energizing issue going into the November election.
President Biden called the decision outrageous on Tuesday.
'Yesterday’s extreme decision puts desperately needed medical care even further out of reach for millions of women in Florida and across the South,' the president said in a statement.
'This decision means that millions of women in Florida and across the Southeast will likely live in an even more cruel reality where they face a choice between putting their lives at risk or traveling hundreds or thousands of miles to get care,' said Vice President Kamala Harris, who has taken a leading role on reproductive rights in the administration, in a separate statement.

Democrats see voters as intensely one-issue on this and oblivious to the widespread devastation that the Democrats have inflicted on this country. Trump can prove them wrong — if he hits the issues and wastes no time on critics like Pence and Bolton.

I went to college in Florida many long years ago. Visited many times since. To my recollection, the Palm Beach Post was a Communist mouthpiece even in the days of the Soviet Union.
It’s not that easy in Florida, the voter rolls are reasonably maintained, voter ids are required, mail in ballots have to requested by the voter after proving their identity, those votes are counted as they come in, in 2022, Florida counted over 7 million votes and reported the results before midnight and certified the results.
The Republicans also have a near 1 million registered voter advantage over the Democrats.
If Biden wins Florida it won’t be because the vote was somehow rigged.

That system is long gone, Florida has one of the tightest elections systems in the country.
It’s one of the reasons they can count 7 million votes and report the results before midnight on election day.
In terms of the abortion issue, in Florida a 60% vote in favor is required to pass a Constitutional Amendment.
Democrats are the party of Hamas after all. Maybe Hamas gave them tips on putting the babies in ovens when they kill them.

Me too, but the massive win by DeSantis in the last election allowed me to believe they have got it under control.
DeSantis created election police and they started arresting people for election fraud. Suddenly he wins by 30%!
30% is unheard of in normal elections. Usually the margin is a few percent. 30% makes me believe there was a *LOT* of fraud in Florida, and specifically in Miami Dade county.
Yeah - I'm not sure why they're wasting their ballot creation money on this lost cause.

I have to think the fraudsters got the message.
The Democrat Socialists are easily “outraged”, it is their default position on every issue. They have chosen to make this a crusade, the restoration of the cult of Moloch, which involves the sacrifice of children, and also self-abnegation, in which they voluntarily deny themselves the fruits of thrift and labor, to live in near penury, in a “democratic” solidarity with the oppressed and downtrodden of the world. That is, except for a favored few, who have to have access to the resources of the world, so the largess may be “equitably” distributed.
Sounds like a “command-and-control” scheme to me.
