That was last September ... since then Russia launched its bloody assault on Avdiivka, which killed another 40,000+ Russian troops
So the total Russian losses are already at about 140-150,000
Put in perspective, that’s 7X what Russia lost in Afghanistan (1979-89, 15K) and the two Chechnyan Wars (1995-2000, 7K) ... except Putin they took 15 years to get to 22,000 dead, and Putin has reached 140,000 in just 2 years

And Isabel van Brugen writing for Newsweek is speculating at best, and has done so in the past that have proven her claims to be baseless nonsense.

There were over 300,000 dead Russian soldiers not long ago. I guess they were using all those shovels to dig up the wrongfully dead and return them to service.
