Russia violates the laws of war and uses chemical weapons on the battlefield in Ukraine, according to the Operational Command North of the Armed Forces of Ukaine.
"The other day, the enemy threw a gas grenade into the dugout of an infantry battalion. However, the soldier, nicknamed Yaryi, reacted instantly and threw the grenade outside," the statement says.
The Russian occupiers dropped a gas grenade from a drone at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. It was filled with gas that affected the respiratory system...
...The munitions dropped by the Russians are similar to those used by the police to disperse rallies.

One is tempted to ask when they will produce news articles denouncing their allied US and European governments for "using chemical weapons against dissidents" every time there is a riot or rowdy protest. But that would be naive.
Appears to be a Russian troll alert .
Russia’s use of chem weapons may or may or not be true. But, given MSM’s record of “success” in their reporting, I’d judge the probability of this claim being true is roughly 0.00001.
The use of pepper spray and tear gas in war is illegal under contemporary treaties and conventions.
FR mods - why did you strip that from my title? Are bracketed comments disallowed? Because I see them all the time.
Link/source? And is Russia a signatory?
“The munitions dropped by the Russians are similar to those used by the police to disperse rallies.”
So now pepper spray is considered a “weapon of mass destruction” according to the neocons.
It’s good that there people like you here to defend the good honor of Russian troops /s
We also use CS.
Yes, it’s BS.
Stories like this pander to ignorance albeit the writer is intentionally vague and misleading, insincere in this story.
A “respiratory irritant.” That could be a lot of things Chlorine, phosphene... Or simply CS like every other military uses.

"Each State Party undertakes not to use riot control agents as a method of warfare."
That's the basis for claiming pepper spray can't be used. We're speculating that the agent used in the Ukraine is the same thing used for riots. My main point stands - that this is propaganda designed to convey false impressions. And it's nice to know that our elites will hypocritically use "chemical weapons" against citizens that it would call a war crime if used against its own troops. LOL.
"“Riot Control Agent” means:
Any chemical not listed in a Schedule, which can produce rapidly in humans sensory irritation or disabling physical effects which disappear within a short time following termination of exposure."
Haven't found the "Schedule(s)" they reference yet.
Facts are important. Except for Uke Spooks.
If you are referring to the poster of this article, EnderWiggin1970, the answer is no, the person is not a troll. You can clearly see what he is referring to.
Reminds me of the HAZMAT suit my date had to wear, after we had dinner one night.
I had the french fried onion rings.
There are 2 types of tear gas — CS and CN. (Old info, sorry.)
CN irritates the eyes and not much else. Annoying, really.
CS is much worse. Along with eye irritation, CS also irritates the air passages and sinus cavities. This stuff is disabling and nasty.
“Lie by Structure” - a misleading headline with the truth buried.
What if it was a smoke grenade used to target an artillery or air strike. Smoke is a respirator irritant.
As for police use of riot control agents, the concentration of active ingredients and their use are subject to legal and practical limitations. In essence, the police use irritating but relatively non-toxic levels of tear gas and pepper spray in the open air to disperse menacing crowds. In war, such agents would commonly be used in higher concentrations to kill or incapacitate or drive troops out of hiding so that they can be killed.
The subject is easy enough to research on the internet — and complicated enough to generate endless disputations unless one is willing to learn it directly. And yes, Russia is a signatory to the relevant treaties and conventions.
However the same Vile Traitor "American" "Journalists" rejoice when Murdering Capitol Police Kill innocent J6 Protestors with those same chemical weapons in the US Capitol.
Screw Ukraine and Zeepers.

There, fixed it for ya! And I agree wholeheartedly.
