Mail ballots whittle O’Neill Burke’s lead over Harris in state’s attorney race for 6th straight day (blueprint for 2024)

Eileen O'Neill Burke's razor’s edge lead over Clayton Harris III in the Democratic primary for Cook County state’s attorney is now down to less than a third of a percentage point.

The latest batches of city and suburban ballots reported on Monday left O'Neill Burke only 1,643 votes ahead of Harris —nearly a week after the polls closed.

Based on the unofficial results, O'Neill Burke, a retired appellate court justice, now leads Harris, a university lecturer, 50.16% to 49.84%. The mail ballots trickling in since last Tuesday have consistently narrowed O'Neill Burke’s margin.

On Monday, Harris won 56% of the mail-in votes cast in the city and 52% from the suburbs in the latest batch reported by the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners and the Cook County clerk.

Shortly after the polls closed last Tuesday, Harris trailed by about 10,000 votes. By Saturday, only 4,771 separated the two Democrats, dropping down to 2,015 votes after the city was done with its count Sunday.

More statistical impossibilities reminiscent of the late votes in 2020…

so rotten that ballots can be counted this far after the election!

all ballots should have to be received by election day to count!

This is how Franken beat Coleman up here in Minnesota... They kept “finding” more votes for Franken until he had a lead... then miraculously... they stopped counting.

Norm, being the “moderate” that he was didn’t even bother trying to appeal.

That was a regular election instead of an in-Party primary, but Democrats only have a few tricks in their bag and use them to good effect.

O’Neill loses to the Soros candidate I wonder if it will affect her views of the 2020 election.

If I remember right they found boxes full of votes (for Franken) in the trunk of someone’s car.

Election was held March 19, and they are still receiving and processing “mail in ballots”

They’ll do so until April 2

Talk about a f****d up banana republic!

He wouldn’t have conceded ‘no fraud’ in the environment today, especially given that the margin was razor thin and watchdog groups did find evidence of invalid voters for Franken a year later.

Ballot harvesting works. It’s currently working solely for Democrats because Republicans don’t even try. It was time to stop belly-aching and start conservative ballot harvesting mechanisms four years ago - anyone still complaining about it now needs to learn to deal with reality.

In Kalifornia, they keep counting almost until the next election day.

Supposedly Garvey is giving PencilNeck a run for it. One can only imagine the shenanigans the Dims will perpetrate in that race.

The mail ballots trickling in since last Tuesday have consistently narrowed O'Neill Burke’s margin.

Fraudulent ballots always trickle in and move the count in one direction only.

Soros gave Kim Foxx $2m. AFAIK, he’s bowed out of this election, which is being held to replace her.

Norm, being the “moderate” that he was didn’t even bother trying to appeal.

Sure.

But if he had appealed, every judge would have found some reason why he didn't have "standing". That's how the scam works. NOBODY, either before or after the "election" has standing to challenge the democrats criminal fraud.

Truth. I was on the fence about Norm to begin with... His being a former Democrat... But at least he wasn’t a full on Commie like the un-funny pervert.

That’s how they do it now, yes.

They’ve had decades to perfect the scheme. You don’t think anyone up here actually voted FOR Mondale/Ferraro against Reagan?
