Bill Maher says he’s committed to ensuring that former President Trump doesn’t return to the Oval Office.
“I’ll do everything I can to make sure that doesn’t happen, but none of us have much influence,” the HBO “Real Time” host said of Trump winning his rematch against President Biden, in an interview with Variety that published Wednesday.
“What I have decided to do is not preemptively give up my nervous system to Donald Trump like I did last time, or maybe the last two times,” Maher, 68, said.
“If he wins, he wins,” he added.
“The country is polarized. It’s like a prison yard — you’re either one team or the other,” said Maher, who was promoting his new Club Random Studios podcast network.

When Trump was in office, I would like Bill to explain how he personally suffered because of Trump. Did he lose his fortune? Did he go homeless and lived on the streets? Was he unable to access health care when he needed it? Was he mugged by illegal aliens? What?
I heard that if you hold your breath till election day Trump will lose.
Maybe he’ll smoke some weed and sip on a bourbon while interviewing some person of lackey hipster on his boreass show while the audience watches in wonderment at his hair gel drying.
