White House: U.N. Resolution ‘Did Not Condemn Hamas,’ We Let it Pass Because It ‘Broadly’ Reflects Our Policy

On Monday’s broadcast of NPR’s “All Things Considered,” White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby acknowledged that the United Nations ceasefire resolution that the United States abstained from the vote on and did not veto “did not condemn Hamas” and that condemning Hamas is “important” if the U.N. wants to stand for what’s right. But stated that because the resolution “reflected, broadly, our policy, which has not changed, about linking the hostage release to a ceasefire, we abstained rather than [veto] it.”

Kirby stated that [relevant remarks begin around 3:35] “the language in this resolution is very much consistent with what we’ve said, which is, we want all the hostages out in conjunction with a ceasefire.”

did not condemn Hamas” and that condemning Hamas is “important” if the U.N. wants to stand for what’s right. They don’t give a damn about being right. Only staying in power.

Biden administration banking on Jew haters to back them up in order to spook the Israelis into behaving.

Most of what the UN does is find ways to blame the Jews for various things, and then the US, which funds most of the UN, says “ok guys, that’s enough” and makes sure nothing happens.

Obama danced around the edges with ending the protection of Israel, and they are still not fully to the point of letting Israel fend for itself, but they are certainly way closer than they used to be.

The same people who are saying we have to support Ukraine financially and militarily against Russia, are the same people telling Israel how to fight their wars, and how to treat the terrorists who want them dead. They are the same people pushing Israel into a cease fire.

Israel should sever the cord with the U.S. Be painful but worth it in the long run. Any country that depends on the U.S for military assistance or a security guarantee should plan to do the same. Too unreliable

It "broadly" reflects your policy not to condemn people who bake babies.

O-kay.

You do not have to say anything more.

Ever.
