Heard Moreno being interviewed a few days ago ago. He reminds me a bit of JD Vance.
Can he beat Brown?
He has a much better chance of beating Brown than the other two that were running.
For one thing, I think he will be willing to put the pointed kind of ads out there that will damage Brown compared to the other two.
He would have a good chance assuming Trump once again wins Ohio by the margins he won it before.
And if he has plenty of money to counter Brown’s war chest as well.

No candidate is perfect, but I hope Trump got some assurances from these guys that they would fight for 2nd Amendment rights.
As of now he doesn't, and it's not close.
However keep in mind that J.D. Vance was starved for funds in 2022, was outspent astronomically by Tim Ryan and faced an additional avalanche of negative "independent" expenditures against him -- and he still won.
If Moreno somehow prevails in November, the financial disparity is going to be very similar to 2022. No Republican nominee is going to outspend the Democrat nominee in any hotly-contested statewide race anywhere, and almost never even comes close to doing so. That's just how it is these days.
It doesn't mean the Republican automatically loses, but the path to victory is always as difficult as possible when your opponent has all the money in the world, a 100% unified Democrat party behind him marching in perfect goosestep, AND gets billions in free "in-kind" contributions from the media on a 24/7 basis (and all that doesn't even account for Democrat vote fraud either).
Trump has finally endorsed the correct candidate. Too many times he has endorsed a Mitch lackey over a superior conservative

AND Moreno says he wears the Trump endorsement proudly on his shirt sleeve.
