Biden is so out of line here. While he is trying to straighten out the problems from the houthis off shore by providing a strong navy force to attack them for robbing, killing, and stealing of vessel traffic, to include shelling them inland, he is coming down on Israel for doing right about the exact same thing. What he needs to do is stay out of the way with Gaza and let Israel handle their own affairs. Israel didn’t start this, but they can finish it.

In the early 1980s, the Reagan Administration was trying to get Israel to ‘understand their place’ in the ‘order of things’. Israel responded by essentially telling Reagan’s Israel-haters, Arabists at the State Department (which happened to be an earlier breed of Neocons), that, essentially, Israel is NOT a Banana Republic and to keep out of Israel’s affairs. And then, like magic, Reagan had a great relationship with Israel.
40 years later, I just heard the same thing from Israel regarding “Banana Republic”, so good to hear, but times are different and now, thanks to the (mostly) DNC Population Replacement Program, there are MILLIONS of new Americans who want Israel destroyed, likely more than the number of Jews (even though at least half of the Jews also want Israel destroyed, which was not the case back then).
So we’ll see what happens this time...
