Matt Rosendale has a 100% rating on the Liberty Score published by Conservative Review and a 100% rating on the Freedom Index published by The New American. Like many states, Montana has a moderate Republican establishment that abhors solid conservatives remaining in office. Given the rejection of RINOs in primaries in North Carolina and Texas, it would not be surprising if the country club crowd resorted to extralegal means of sidelining Rosendale.

Thanks. The Left uses labels to great effect, both to target opponents and to favorably brand their own initiatives.
They are better with words and actions than the Right, which mostly whines and complains rather than holding the Left’s feet to the fire.

I live in Montana. The rumor has been floating around for weeks that he got his 20 year old staffer pregnant. Probably true.

"When empires fall it happens in stages, not all at once." Stage 1 - 16th - The power to tax income becomes the power to grow government power.
Stage 2 - 17th - Senators chosen by popular vote eliminated Constitutional balance of Fed, State and People. Government power multiplies.
Stage 3 - 19th - Women get the vote, government power grows exponentially.

U R so right. We can’t beat them in the ‘cool’ department-think BJ & Obama. Same in the area of Santa Claus.
What Trump can do at the SOTU is acknowledge the siren call with the sheeple mentality. Then he can say “Look at me-I’m cool”. Disarming.

You don’t think left Marxists aren’t threatening conservatives?
You are so wrong.

If he was truly afraid of the death threat he would not mention that he got a death threat. The first rule of Death Threat Club is nobody talks about Death Threat Club.

I might move it back to having sinators elected directly vs appointed and the imposition of the income tax.

In that case, our fall began in November 1960 when the election was stolen from Richard Nixon in order to put a liberal coward into the White House.

I live in Montana too and have heard nothing about this but I did receive a call last night from a friend who is connected to the state party and used to work for Conrad Burns. Didn’t see it until later but I’ll call him back this morning.

The British historian John Glubb wrote that American decline started with Woodrow Wilson's second term (1917-1921).
Also, during this time, the state legislatures ratified four consecutive bad constitutional amendments from 1913 to 1920: the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th amendments.

“Could Jesse Helms win today in NC?”
Considering he was a take no prisoners brawler and NC has elected a veto proof GOP legislature, I would say he could. Everybody said Jesse would lose back then too.

It has been covered extensively on the ‘bozeman’ and ‘montana’ thread on Reddit by the political junkies... started appearing several weeks ago.

America is done. I’ve been saying this for years.
Only divine intervention could possibly revive it and it’s not deserved at this point.
