Whatley and Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump and wife of Trump’s son, Eric Trump, were elected on Friday by members of the RNC as the new chair and co-chair of the RNC. They replace now former chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and were supported by the former president, who just locked down the GOP presidential nomination this week with blowout victories on Super Tuesday. Whatley and Trump sat for their first exclusive joint interview with Breitbart News moments after they won the positions at the RNC meetings in Houston, and they told Breitbart News the focus from the party is now exclusively on winning in November.
“This year, the next eight months, are all about making sure that we win in November,” Whatley said. “Everything we do is going to be focused on winning. We are going to have to get out the vote and we are going to have to protect the ballot. Every dollar we raise and we spend at the RNC is going to be focused on those two missions. We are going to work very, very closely with the president’s campaign, and we’re going to make sure that we are a seamless operation. ”

At the end of the day, the RNC was built 146 years ago with one purpose, which was to elect Republican presidents. We also know we’ve got Senate races and House races that are really truly important for us, so we are going to work up and down the country to win up and down the ballot. But the way we’re going to do that is getting out the vote and protecting the ballot.
Such a breath of fresh air from the Romney niece.
Now we know why Mitch McConnell isn’t going to run again. He has lost control of the Republican money bags and he can no longer direct money to RINO Republicans
I know Whatley. He is a HUGE Trump fan and of pushing back on ballot security. But, he also has some credibility with the old-line Republican donor class.
Some will call him a Rino. I won’t. He’s not. But he is a lawyer and a slippery one. I’m glad he is on our side.
Co-chairs. It dilutes the never Trump crowd. At least those in the media.
He is Chair, she is Co-Chair — seems odd. Isn’t the 2nd person usually the “Vice Chair”? “Co” implies equality.
In this role, he needs to be able to organize a functioning GOTV operation. It’s essential to victory. 2016 was the last time it was organized.
Fed & state AGs, SOSs, Courts & corporate media ran cover for the criminal democrat cheaters in 2020. These same actors will do the same in 2024. Case in point. Biden's 2024 SOTU address was filled with many bald face lies. The corporate media treated his speech as absolute truth.
What if anything can a divided Republican party do to prevent democrat voter fraud ? Unless something is done, I doubt the republican party will win important elections going forward.
Okay, so finally time to contribute to the RNC. We need to win everything in November to save the country.
I agree, now I can send money to the RNC and the likelihood that it will go to some RINO has been greatly lessened.
Does that mean GOP voter registration rallies and election vote harvesting?
Stop trying to imitate or compete against the Democrat voter scams!
Go back to the time tested methods...
One day, in-person, paper ballot voting, and one night immediate vote counting - with the fewest possible, and closely monitored, exceptions.
Official state and official USA citizen ID.
Annual Voter Roll purges.
I think you’re spot on. Lara will be an amazing co-chair and help clean up the party.
Hey R’s, want to win?
1. Scott Pressler
2. Jay Valentine
Hire them both for very prominent positions, give them a good budget, and get the heck out of the way.
We will win that way, hands down.
But...it is the RNC, so...
“This year, the next eight months, are all about making sure that we win in November,” Whatley said. “Everything we do is going to be focused on winning. We are going to have to get out the vote and we are going to have to protect the ballot.

I think Ronna, Romney, Rich Lowry and many other “Republicans” worked against Trump and “looked the other way” on the “Great Steal”. So, putting Lara in as Co Chair was, I believe, a HUGE step in the right direction for Trump and all the rest of us that give a damn about America.
“The meaning of COCHAIR is one of two or more chairpersons who preside jointly over something (such as a meeting, organization, committee, event, or department)”
Makes them EQUAL. HE is not in charge, THEY are, which means SHE is!
Birthplace of the Republican party. (March 20, 1854)
Where Abraham Lincoln was discharged from service in the Black Hawk wars and had his horse stolen. (Near a spring located outside of town. July 10, 1832.)
We have no choice but to try and outcompete them in ballot- harvesting this cycle. You won’t find many who disagree with going back to one day in-person voting with paper ballots, voter I.D., etc. But that’s not an option this time. The laws need to be changed, but they’re not going to be changed by those currently in power. We have no choice but to swamp the democrats with the system we currently have and beat them in November- unless we want to go kinetic before then. I say we give elections one more chance, rigged though they may be, before we consider going down that road.
I am thinking about the song by The Who: Wont get fooled again. Meet the new boss...same as the old boss...
The wording coming out about this is inconsistent and confusing, so it’s hard to figure out their precise roles based on reporting.. For example, the headline refers to Michael Whatley as the Chair and Lara Trump as Co-Chair. Why not refer to them both as Co-Chairs if they’re equals? I suspect that their positions are not exactly equal and that Whatley ultimately has greater authority but that some sort of position has been created, that they’re calling Co-Chair, which gives Lara Trump a significant oversight role but which is not exactly equal to the Chairmanship.
I don’t know. I hope not. Lara Trump being elected Co-Chair is a good sign. I’ve also heard good things about Whatley. His record as North Carolina Chair speaks for itself.
