Last month was the planet’s warmest February on record and the ninth-straight month of record-breaking temperatures, according to data released Thursday.
February was more than 1.7 degrees Celsius warmer than an average February in pre-industrial times, reported Copernicus, the European Union’s climate monitoring service.
The average global surface air temperature during the month was 13.54 degrees Celsius — or about 56 degrees Fahrenheit — and beats the previous warmest February, which was recorded in 2016.
The month was also part of a record-warm twelve-month period, according to the service, which reported that “the global-average temperature for the past twelve months is the highest on record, at 0.68 degrees Celsius above the 1991-2020 average.”

Except these days Democrat practical politics is menacing us with the Great Replacement and the efforts to Destroy Trump. They are real.
What I know for sure is my electric bill for air con was down by 32% last August and my gas bill for heating was up by 32% in January, so I strongly suspect that someone is lying to us about the earth getting warmer. My utility bills do not lie.
Sorry, but I read climate data from sources that I can believe. Anything from Europe and cited by the Hill is as far away from believability as can be achieved. And yes, I actually have education, have had to use atmospheric absorbtion data, and can use real math...unlike journalists, politicians, and gubmit sponsored “climate scientists”.
Sorry, I don’t trust their measurement processes.
I often wonder where they stick the thermometer to determine this.

The “European Union’s climate monitoring service”. I don’t trust them any farther than I could throw the U.S.S. Gerald R. Ford. Climates are constantly changing. Likely they took temperatures only of those places where the temperature is going up, and ignoring the ones where the temperature is going down. The U.N. has been caught red-handed doing that very thing.
These morons should leave their Heated Basements and check out the Real World ,LOL

Our electric bills were really low last year because of a warmer (and shorter) winter and a cooler summer. Win-win.
I know this stuff is cyclical, so I’ll take the good when I can get it.

Well, it was predicted, and having nothing whatsoever to do with CO2.
The reported heating last year was far too *high* to be explained by CO2, and would show yet again that their models are not remotely predictive.

Skiing was pretty good this Winter. And I’m really loving this early Spring.
Combined with the fact that in recent pre-industrial times we were in a little ice age. Which it can be argued we are still coming out of.
