Americans are spending more money on food than they have in 30 years, and Kellogg's CEO Gary Pilnick has a solution: Eat cereal for dinner. The suggestion, made by Pilnick during a TV interview last week, gained widespread attention, dividing the internet.
Pilnick was making the case for "quite affordable" cereal during an appearance on CNBC's "Squawk on the Street."

Me too. A stack of pancakes with walnuts, half dozen eggs on top all smothered maple syrup, with a side of biscuits n’ gravy with heavy bacon sprinkles. Dinner anytime.
He’s also the one putting cells of human embryos in the ingredients.
I know that feeling.
awww....he had to ask three times, the poor fella.
Enserio? Here is another let them eat cake liberal jerk. Those cereals are just processed, carb-heavy crap with barely any protein-look at the ingredients/nutrition info-frankenfood calling itself cereal. Real cereal is not flakes and needs to be cooked...
I think that was back in 2016 unless I’m otherwise mistaken.
Hung with deceased Freeper mylife when he lived in Greenville. We would devour hotlinks eggs cheese and biscuits after partying at the vfw. Top off with ice cream and count choco or honey nut cheerios, or whatever. I miss that dude.
6 eggs!!?? You’re making me feel like a piker. lol
3 eggs is my limit. I’m not from Havana.
Biscuits and gravy are great, although I haven’t taken the trouble in a while.
Love to add a little cheddar cheese to them.
I generally only eat one meal a day so I’d never get to enjoy all those wonderful “breakfast” foods if I didn’t have them for the big evening meal.
Never had cereal, but as a kid, breakfast for dinner was how I knew it was almost dad’s payday. We might have pancakes, and maybe an egg. Powdered milk too, which I hated. If mom budgeted a little better, it was mac-n-cheese with a chopped up hotdog, or maybe a fried bologna sandwich. But on payday, we had real meat again. Once we all were in grade school, mom got a part time job and it was gravy days from then on.
I can’t believe that I made it through all the replies and this was still available..Let them eat cereal (cake).
I also can’t believe it.
Another woke corporate ****
A 1 lb box of Kellogg’s cereal at my local grocery store costs about $5.50
At that price, its far more economical to buy meat, carrots and potatoes, and get far more nutrition and calories.
Cereal is one of the least cost effective foods to eat. It’s pretty stinking expensive per box for what you are getting.
Buckwheat will clean you out good..
“Let them eat (frosted) flakes!”
Just ask Stymie.
now that I'm type 2 diabetic, I can't do that anymore ...about 26grams in carbs in one smallish bowl of cereal....
Over priced junk food approaching $7 a box, from a woke company. No thanks.
You can feed cereal to your mealworm colony and eat them.
