The Qu’ran is a collection of Gnostic writings on the Biblical books.
It was written by people who rejected the idea of Jesus as God, so it is based on a deity who is remote. It took the OT picture of deity and made it more remote.
Excellent article. But the book costs $44 even in kindle format!!
Muhammad may not have exited, and Mecca have not have even existed at his supposed time!

I’m saying this even though I cannot be called an “Islamophobe”, since I gave an invited biotech seminar in Abu Dhabi UAE in the early 2000s, when I was still a Lutheran. I appreciate the wonderful hospitality that I received there. And I appreciate the current friendly relations between the UAE, the USA, Serbia, and even Israel.
Nevertheless, soon it will be Ramadan, and there will be all sorts of muslim violence in the USA, Israel, Europe, and elsewhere. And Harvard and other universities will boil over with all sorts of nonsense. Lord help us all!!
The radical Muzzies in certain cities (think Dearbornistan) will be particularly pizzed when Western Christians begin their Easter feasting while Ramadan is still in place.
Orthodox Christians won’t have that worry with spit roasting Pascha lambs this year!
18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.
19 Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.
Our Pascha is late this year.
Some call it “Pascha de Mayo”!
I love May Paschas!
Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Luke 9
When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases,
2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
3 He told them: “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt.
4 Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town.
5 If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
6 So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.
Lamb tacos!
Indeed.
Preaching the Gospel to throughout Judea, and to the ends of the Earth, is not “leaving people alone”.
It’s also not killing them.
And that, I think, is the difference here.
When your lukewarm Jewish friend “gets religion”, he starts keeping Kosher.
When your lukewarm Christian friend “gets religion”, he starts talking about Jesus.
When your lukewarm moslem friend “gets religion” ...
I think that what Jesus was getting at was not to force Christianity on anybody. It must be accepted willingly. If they won’t listen, fine, then leave. Don’t make waves or create any scenes that would give CHRISTIANS A BAD NAME WHEN OTHERS WILL BE COMING AFTER YOU.................
Jesus: Preach the Gospel everywhere.
Mohammed: Kill anyone who does not submit! Our god is greater!!!!
