On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) stated that President Joe Biden should take executive action on the border, but didn’t do so earlier because he needs Congress and said that “They did try something this last summer that was working, but then got thrown out in court.”
Host Kasie Hunt asked, “So we’re learning that President Biden is going to go to the border this week, really underscoring the political challenges around that issue for him. Are you glad to see that he’s making that trip, and do you think that he should put an executive order in place to try to change some of these policies in the absence of congressional action?”
Klobuchar responded, “Well, it’s a good thing he’s going to the border, and it is good that he’s looking at any alternatives, because you don’t need chaos at the border right now. … Biden actually is looking at solutions, tried to get a bill passed through Congress, pushed back by Republicans, now looking at doing it himself.”

Newsweek: “The states supporting Texas are Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming. Most of these states have been supporting Texas’ efforts to control border immigration going back to at least August 2023.” ... This is regarding TX putting razor wire on the border. Please advise if there’s a way to boycott states/companies who publicly don’t agree with this.

Biden didn’t need Congress, when on his very FIRST day in office, he blithely signed
numerous executive orders to undo every border protection pres Trump had installed.
The buzz is Biden signed, in all, some 62 executive orders.
He was obsessed with undoing all the god work Trump accomplished,
and he threw open the borders for every jailbird and mental health patient to stroll in.
Exactly! The Bill in the House would legitimize the damage done by the Biden Administration and handcuff future administrations from changing their policy. Dems asking for more money for the ‘border’ is actually money going to Progressive strongholds to help feed, shelter, clothe and health care to their illegals. Poor folks in those areas will be the ones to suffer as these funds will take resources from them.
These people ran on opening the border and ow claim they want it closed.
