New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is calling for changes to the city’s “sanctuary” policy that helped an illegal alien walk free, without being turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, who is now accused of kidnapping and murdering 22-year-old Laken Riley in Athens, Georgia.
“For those who are committing crimes, we need to modify the sanctuary city law that if you commit a felony or a violent act, we should be able to turn you over to ICE and have you deported,” Adams said at a town hall on Monday in Brooklyn.

I want all illegal immigrant murderers and criminals to be in New York City.
It’s a great city for a local apocalypse.
Just like Jerry McGuire shouting “show me the money!” I want to see Mayor Adams shouting “Donald Trump was right!”
Better late than never
Is entering the US illegally a felony?
Welll lookie here!!
It's a waste of time to call ICE. Joe Biden's and the Democrats' ICE is not going to deport anyone -- unless maybe a German homeschooling family.
Own it you POS Adams. YOU and your democrat evildoers wanted this. Her blood is on your hands just as much as that filthy violent demon YOU invited in to this country.
These people are so dumb, they could be Republicans and be part of The Stupid Party. 😁 The Stupid Party has no idea how to communicate to the unwashed masses in this country.
duh!
This is EXACTLY what Trump said all those years ago, that made the left go CRAZY and call him a racist!
