Howdy, luvie.
Hope you had a good day.
Quiet here but nice. It was warmer than predicted though still on the cool side. Now we warm up for a couple of days before “yeeha” weather comes through Wednesday.
Hey there, radu!
Yes, it was nice and warm here. 84 high. Same tomorrow. 87 on Monday. It’s just warming up too early to suit me. Hubby did get the lawn “scalped” though, and it looks better. It had gotten really weedy, since hot or cold doesn’t stop them like it does grass.
Sorry it was pretty cool there, but maybe it’ll feel better soon. Not too warm too soon, or you’ll be dreading summer, too. LOL!
Please watch this video, then reflect on the human waste aka excrement this nation has in political office Coast to Coast, both political parties. If that thought doesn’t enrage you, something is very wrong with this nation. We have allowed politicians & their cohorts in alphabet agencies to dishonor all who served & sacrificed for this nation. Makes me ill, how about you? As Todd Beamer said on 9/11, “lets roll” & clean up this nation now.

Hymn to the Fallen - My tribute to those who have sacrificed Friends and Family, Life and Limb, that we might enjoy Freedom.

“It’s been 3 years now since my Father passed. He, his Father before him, and I, 3 generations Navy. I’d go to the VA with my father we both felt at home amongst other veterans. Honor can’t even define the bond we veterans share. I miss you Dad. God love all those who served and the families who support them.”
If it would stop snowing I might be able to see the moon.
I saw it a bit ago and it’s quite gorgeous. I wish it would quit snowing there so you could see it, and so it wouldn’t be treacherous when you have to get out to go to work.
Good evening, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
I can hear the fireworks downtown for Rondy. Can you see them?
Mighty warm there for this time of year. Whew! That’s June weather for us. Must not feel too bad since your hubby didn’t mind breaking the mower out.
It wasn’t too bad here - mid 50s and sunny. Too cool to open windows but it felt nice enough to hang out at the big garage with two of my ‘guardian angels’ for a while this afternoon.
It’s going to be cold overnight - upper 20s - before warming up to upper 60s tomorrow. The coolest day out of the next seven will be Thursday with a high around 50. Otherwise it’s 60s and 70s and that’s just fine. Just going to be windy.
I did get to see a little of the fireworks when the cam slowly panned. No cam op came on to stop the cam and zoom in on them, durn it.
They put on a pretty good show.
I did go downstairs as fast as my stairlift would take me because I could hear someone shoveling the steps. I opened the door...and it was a girl! I thanked her and gave her a tip. I looked out later and she did a really good job.
And I will email their office and tell them. I do that each time they do a really good job. The office said they put a notice on the board in the break room with said compliment. My driveway isn’t just straight lines on each side, and if they do a crappy job on the side, I have to dig out the man door on the side of the garage. A couple of jobs like that had me start sending “job well done” eamils to thank the driver.
Good evening, lightman, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
And a blessed Second Sunday in Lent (Western)/Sunday of the Pharisee and the Publican (Orthodox).
More snow here, but I hope your stove is idle.
Good evening, lucie, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thank you for the hymns.
Snow skies tonight...no moon.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Hope you and Tippy had a fun outing today. Any fresh snow for her to play in?
I’ve got another 6” of fresh snow she can have.
Sounds about right. Ours is supposed to dip on Wednesday, when the high is supposed to be mid-50s. High 30s that night. THAT sounds more normal!
Glad it was nice enough to get out of the house. It’s a wonder yours sinuses aren’t raging after spending time in that garage. Were y’all looking for something or checking to see if Champ is ready for his job?
Yesterday at Comanche Lake:
Our 2006 Ford Ranger hit 120,000 miles yesterday. I've scheduled a service appointment for two weeks from this Tuesday. We'll see what happens but until then, more daily adventures with Gizmo.
How's everyone doing this morning?
You’re welcome, Kathy. I hope you have a blessed Sunday too. Thanks for opening the Chapel doors for us.
Sorry you can’t see the moon. I went out again a bit ago, and it really is lovely. Maybe next month, things will be nicer there. Is it still actually snowing or just cloudy? I need to check the cam!
Glad you were able to get to the door in time to tip her. It was really nice of her to do the extra work. Too many people don’t show appreciation when a worker goes the extra mile.
I imagine the company likes to hear about their employees who do a great job. Maybe they’ll give her a little raise so she’ll stay on with them. People like her are good for business.
Aaaah, so this next cold front is going to dip that low, is it? Not all of them do.
The pollen count isn’t too high just yet so my sinuses don’t get cranky when I spend time outside. That won’t last too much longer though. LOL
One of the guys had asked me if it would be ok to get a car lift and put in that garage a while back and I said it was. He bought one and they were out there setting it up this afternoon. They both pay rent to use the garage and now that it’ll warm up soon, they’ll spend more time here working on cars. That helps deter undesirables. Those people never know when someone will be here besides me.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Looks like you and Gizmo had another fabulous day for your outing at Comanche Lake yesterday.
That’s great that they’ll be in and out, keeping the uglies away from your place. Don’t need that kind of problems!
Speaking of allergies...I have been sneezing all evening. I know that if I don’t take something, I’ll spend the whole night trying not to drown. LOL!
We sure did and we have another planned for later today. :-D
