Former President Donald Trump has been discussing the future of the Defense Department with former Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, as he plots the future of the branch should he return to the White House.
Trump, who went through multiple National Security and Defense advisers in his first term, met with Gabbard at least once in person last year, a source familiar with the conversations told the Washington Post.
Gabbard, previously a Democrat, has become a vocal critic of sending resources to Ukraine in its war with Russia. She has faced criticism from both parties over her isolationist approach to foreign policy but has gained popularity among Trump supporters.
“She appeals to Republicans who are skeptical of intervention overseas, which is now a majority of Republican voters,” Republican strategist Andrew Surabian said.

Ideally, Pubs would regain the majority in Senate and keep the majority in the House. I don't know what the odds are in November for that occurring. RATS will likely steal this election again anyway, or kill Trump. They can't allow him to take office again, no matter what. I have no faith in the electoral system anymore, and Republicans haven't been interested in election reform, not even after Gore tried to overturn the results in Florida in 2000. People forget we had to wait a month before we knew who the newly elected President was, and Republicans for the past 24 years have pretended nothing untoward ever happened in 2000, or 2020.

Tulsi says a lot of good things, unfortunately her voting record says fascist Democrat. So far she hasn’t walked the walk.
I think the past few years of highly politicized investigations by the DOJ/FBI, two impeachmentS by the democrats, the Covid Chinese engineered flu, the government over reaction and subjugation of Constitutional rights, then the Election Steal, followed by all the damage Biden has done economically, with immigration and foreign policy (Afghanistan, Ukraine, Mexico and China), and culturally.... All of this since 2017, has changed people, and things will never be the same they before Trump,or Covid.
I’ve seen Tulsi numerous times on the Gutfeld show and The Five, and she really has changed, and, imho, seen the light.
I would love to see her run DOD.
I do not dislike Tulsi . She was my Congresswoamn for years , and I cannot recall anything she did in that capacity to improve our lots here . I’ve seen her speak , in person, many times ,and was always dismayed by her snarky, disloyal ( to Trump) remarks . More significant in that he was ‘ her boss’ at the time . She’s pretty, a good talker, and definitely thrown under the bus by her ( then) Party. DoD? No way. She may wear a uniform but that doesn’t make her a Warrior. Very softly self-promoting . I do not trust her very far . I must say ...

I agree, and she needs to be kept in her lane - which is fighting off the Neocons. As for other issues, I keep in mind where she’s from and what party she answered to.

I have no need to rebut anything, all the sources he posted are not credible, how about you first provide a credible source before you demand I rebut anything.
You are asking me to rebut his claim but not demanding he first support his. I made no original claim and until actual reputable sources are provided I am under no ethical pressure to provide my sources in rebuttal to a lack of credible sources.
Or is your argument news outlets like CNN are creditable, if so then it is fruitless to discuss anything with you.

Let me add, those same outlets said Russia was collapsing and the ruble falling and Putin a cancer ridden paranoid wearing diapers, literally they reported that stuff. Tucker Carlson smashed that narrative with a sledgehammer, but now you want me and others to believe them about these issues. Literally a fools endeavor.
One data point, the ruble is stronger now than at the beginning of the war, how do you square that circle?
To be clear Putin is evil imo and I prefer both sides not win.
