Authorities were executing an arresting warrant at a home when the suspect opened fire, sources told NBC 4.
Shortly before 10 a.m., the subject remained barricaded in the residence and continued to shoot at police, the outlet said.
“This is still a very, very active scene,” the police spokesperson told The Post.

What a dumba$$
Surrender peacefully and the DA will have you out on the street in a couple hours
Now you give the police an excuse to kill you.

Serving an animal welfare warrant. Dystopian outcome. Obviously the solution will be dog catchers with more fire power. F16’s perhaps?

An arresting warrant, eh? So why did they send officers, if the warrant can do the job for them?

Washington DC would be thrilled with the prospect of limited access from the Walmart stinking masses. If it weren’t for them needing gardeners, roofers, plumbers, pizza delivery adolescents, cooks, bartenders, and diaper changers, they would ban our presence. Maybe keep us on digital shock collars? The closer we get to Washington, the lower our social credit score.

That was a pretty dumb broad they just interviewed. She said the cops need a “different approach” when dealing with these maggots trying to kill them.

Barriers work both ways. And there is a whole lot of landmass outside 10 square miles.

This is a FAKE story! No private citizen can have a gun in Washington DC, so this is impossible thanks to our Dear Leader preventing average citizens from defending themselves…

I agree with her...Once you know guy is alone then seal up the house or building and walk away. Come back in six months.

Surrender peacefully and the DA will have you out on the street in a couple hoursMaybe for carjacking, assault, or murder, but probably not for the cruelty to animals charge.
