Come on Jim. That idea is DOA. One Congress cannot bind another.

There is SOMETHING behind this Ukraine business that we don’t know about.
From the 2019 impeachment, to the Vindman brothers, to a provision that the next president couldn’t pull us out of NATO, to all the politicians taking pictures with the Olive God Zelensky, to the flag pins, to the flag draped across the dais in the House chamber, to the hair-on-fire reactions to some funding being eliminated. Now an impeachment trigger to FUNDING.
Nothing is this important.
But SOMETHING is REALLY important to the Ruling Oligarchy.
Something that we can’t know about, but we just have to keep paying for. And it happened during the Obama years. Something’s definitely up.

That’s notable extra-constitutional...

“Includes language for automatic impeachment”
No such thing.
Another absurd rant from Hoft.
To: Kazan
I don’t think the Constitution allows a Senate to remove a President in advance, let alone take away the job of impeachment from the House. Just imagine if it did.
To: Mouton
Can you guarantee it is DOA?

The legislation explicitly requires funding for Ukraine well into the next presidential term. The Washington Post has already reported this provision was added to control Donald Trump. One congress cannot constrain future congresses.

Partisan Democrats would seize on the opportunity to impeach him once again. The Washington Post has reported that tying President Trump’s hands on foreign policy is very much top of mind for Biden administration officials, who are openly boasting about their plans.’ The background quote is damningThis doesn't look like a "Partisan Democrats" problem - this bill had very significant Republican support.

An absurd rant? The whole piece references JD Vance and memo he put out this legislation..
So, you want us to believe you know more about this legislation than Vance?

This isn’t real and I am shocked Vance would say this. It makes me doubt his honesty.
The Democrats TRIED to use this narrative to convict him during his impeachment. They were unsuccessful. They can TRY again next time but unless the Republicans want to get rid of Trump, they will be unsuccessful again.

Doesn’t that bill have to go back to congress for reconciliation? Congress must kill it.

Ownership of Ukraine’s and Russia’s mineral wealth by the oligarchs. Ownership of the world
Of course, they will not tell you this.

It's "impeachment" when Republicans do it; it's a "policy dispute" when Democrats do it.

That idea is DOA. One Congress cannot bind another. Who knows if the courts would ultimately see it that way.
That isn't the point. The point is 18 Republicans are trying to saddle Trump with funding he wouldn't agree to. And, that is unacceptable and outrageous.
