Yes. We had a visiting doctor come to our high school for a presentation (I was the teacher at the time). He had just come back from a rotation on a Native American reservation in Alaska - said he left very saddened.
Many, if not most, have diabetes and live on junk food, they haul in pallets of Coca-cola which they seem addicted to, drugs and alcohol have decimated them as well.
He said he wasn’t sure he could even help them, only treat their symptoms.
I have family in the area that told me the same thing - I had thought Montana was a solid red state - they said the Indian Reservations - with rampant corruption and fraud - helped elect the likes of Tester.
Medical friends say the same. The reservation system has been one soul killing endeavour. Time to mainstream them and pull supports.

Reservations have high rates of alcoholism, illegal drugs, DV, child stuff, missing persons and unsolved murders. Wake the heck up. Stop the cycle and be the voice of change.

tribes have brought this on themselves....they refuse to be part of the US and refuse our cops and our courts, but then get all upset when their people become involve in massive crime ....
I get irritated because out west here there's this big push about "missing indigenous women" and how its everybodys fault that these women go missing...you know what...these women go missing at the hands of their fellow indians IMO....
yrs ago a man went before a tribal judge for raping his 12 yro dtr....the family pleaded to the judge that the father needed to be home for his kids, namely his sons....so the tribal judge gave him no prison time and sent him home to the same home his victim lived....that's how much they care about their female folk...
so the same with drugs...they won't go after the dealers or users because they are all interrelated ...
so its a bad situation but one that only they can solve, which they won't....but they sure will go begging for USA dollars to fund more corrupt agencies...
the fewer the indians the more the remaining indians get in casino cash etc....fewer people to distribute the money to.
yes go ahead and blame it on whitey....
I would suggest the ICJ if they were fair...
