I am sending best wishes to my good friend and former Governor Larry Hogan. I endorsed @GovLarryHogan today and pledged the maximum amount of $10,000 from my PAC. I look forward to helping Larry in any way I can. https://t.co/0lKzmjPtX2 https://t.co/k9WsQSQ2Zi— John Bolton (@AmbJohnBolton) February 9, 2024

“Pledged”...not “mailed a check”.
Instead of pointing out where I'm incorrect, you toss a few ad hominems at me...classy.
Unlike you, I don't expect Trump to change how he builds his next cabinet.
Maybe he’ll be better than Ben Cardin.
very true, at least we know to expect from a democrat. They stab you in the front.
Bolton is a certified idiot.
Oh my God. We have gone insane. Bolton is supporting him for only one reason - he would be a reliable war-mongering neo-con.
WTF does John Bolton have a PAC for? I hope he doesn’t think he’d ever get elected to anything other than dog catcher, and even that’s questionable.
Hogan has zero chance but that won’t stop the NRSC from wasting millions of dollars on his election campaign. Their purpose in life is to waste money attempting to elect Assistant Democrats like Hogan.
If you can’t primary him out, vote independent
He’s considered running for President:

Couldve fed alot of homeless vets with 10gs . This virtue signaling loser is desperate for attention in every conceivable way.
And William F. Buckley’s rule was.....
Support and vote for the most conservative candidate that can win in any given race.
Yeah, I know he put that crap out there, but he’s unelectable, and raising money from a PAC that will never get him elected. It’s just another money making scheme.
“Bless your heart, odawg.”
First of all, you can shove that line up your ass sideways.
“BTW, it’s called an “opinion”, not “passing judgment.””
Second, an opinion is a judgement. You too stupid to know that?
“Instead of pointing out where I’m incorrect, you toss a few ad hominems at me...classy.
Third, I did point out how you were incorrect. They were hired based on their previous accomplishments and they were recommended to him. Had nothing to do with blind loyalty.
“Unlike you, I don’t expect Trump to change how he builds his next cabinet.”
Forth, he has already changed out he builds his cabinet, but you show your ignorance by not knowing it.
Fifth, in reference to number one, screw you.
“McConnell said he and National Republican Senatorial Committee Chair Sen. Steve Daines (Mont.) had “numerous conversations” with Hogan over the past week to help persuade him to run for Cardin’s seat.”
How wonderful.
Now they can waste NRSC money on him, and use that as an excuse for why there’s simply nothing left to spend on a true conservative (Matt Rosendale — whom Daines and McConnell absolutely despise) in an actual WINNABLE state like Montana and not some lunatic pipe dream like Maryland.
Just because Governor Fatf*ck was allowed to defeat a couple of hapless stooges in 2014 and especially 2018, doesn’t mean he’s got a snowball’s chance in hell of winning a vital (to the Democrats) Senate race in 2024 against a massively well-funded opponent.
I’ve always wondered what the rules are about campaign donations, if someone bows out. Do they just keep them?
The problem is they are never as conservative as they would have you believe.
Actually, Hogan does have a good chance of winning. He’s very popular in Maryland and was elected twice as governor.
I’m currently planning to vote for him, but I’m reading the opposition posts here on FR to consider their point of view.
When he was governor he was a mixed bag, and I expect he would be a mixed bag in the senate, too. He refused to endorse Dan Cox, a true conservative, to succeed him as governor, and that worries me. I’m generally someone who would take what I can get, even if it’s not perfect, rather than demand perfection. But I don’t want someone who will actively work against true conservatism, and Hogan definitely has that potential.
I’ll be paying close attention to both the content and tone of his campaign.
The good news is that Dan Cox is running for the House of Representatives in a district that he could actually win. Unfortunately it not my district.
You make a fair point. Bolton is all about war, as long as he’s not on the front lines.
I am however looking at things from a different angle. The future of this country will be to a great degree in the hands of the Supreme Court. Will the 2A survive? Will free speech survive? Etc.
And I’d rather have a RINO Republican voting on a Supreme Court nominee than any Democrat. Remember, there are no moderate Democrats left.
