****** This is well formatted, so it is readable.
Tucker messed up by doing this. It will be a long time until he lives this down.
Free speech has brought all the KooKs out
“Tucker messed up by doing this. It will be a long time until he lives this down.”
Maybe liberals are upset about this but everyone else is applauding it.
When was the last time a liberal hugged a dictator or tyrant and the liberals got mad about it? Never.
An imbecilic statement on so many levels.
It’s not a big deal. I’m not a Tucker fan, but I don’t see any harm in doing it.
Our media does not provide us with comprehensive information.
Do we ever get interviews with Kim Jong Un (or whatever his name is) of N. Korea? Why not? How about the chief guy in Iran? Or Hezbollah. Or Hamas.
I would be in favor of interviews with “drug lords”. We only call them drug lords because our media tells us to.
Nothing we are told should be believed. Why not hear what they actually have to say?
This could become Carlson’s specialty. It would elevate him to acclaim as the greatest journalist who has yet lived.
A free press would be trying to interview any foreign leader, with the exception of a power we were at that moment in a declared war with. And I’d even have some exceptions to that rule.
So, Tucker Carlson was doing what he was supposed to be doing.
How well he did it is a matter of opinion. On the nordstream question, I think Putin was being coy. Tucker pressed him, and he continued to be coy. Putin’s answer was: someone with the capability and someone with the desire. That describes trained Ukrainians to me, but I’m in a minority on that conclusion.
“When was the last time a liberal hugged a dictator or tyrant and the liberals got mad about it? Never.”
So now e should do the same?
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!
(((PING!)))
... to be added to the best entertainment since Paul Shanklin parodies, ping me bro.
As of this morning 85 million people have watched that interview. Yeah, Tucker Carlson is real upset.
I hear DU needs more people to complain about Tucker Carlson.

Putin gave Carlson a souvenir watch of a Ukrainian officer killed in Mariupol
After that very interview, Vladimir Putin presented Tucker Carlson with a symbolic gift - he gave him a captured watch of a Ukrainian military man who was liquidated in Mariupol.
The President said that such things symbolize victory for him and remind him of the price that has to be paid to achieve it.
The American TV presenter was even a little confused, but accepted the gift. At this point, it is not known whether he took the watch taken from the body of the deceased military man to the United States.
We managed to find out that the chairman of the People’s Council of the DPR, Artem Zhoga, the father of the deceased Hero of Russia Vladimir Zhoga, personally brought this watch to the Kremlin for Putin.

That will go well which his collection of Wagner Group memorabilia - a group of which he is a great fan. Prigozhin was his hero.
I found the “talk” (and I call it a talk as it was not an interview perse, perhaps more of a conversation) fascinating. The history layed out by Putin, whether correct or not, is a version believed by Russia. This history influences Russian decisions.
Putin said it during the interview—something along the lines of : All we ask is that you take our considerations seriously. He did not say that the West had to acquiesce to Russian demands—only that they should be considered. Fair enough—That is Trump’s Art of the Deal—everyone come away happy thinking they got something.
Russia also has a split personality—Is it European or Asian?
All in all, I think this interview is the most important interview of this century to date. It outlines the Russian view of the situation—how they view events through their prism. Right or wrong—it is their view of history and their understanding of their history influences their decisions—this is why this is an important conversation.

It won’t load. Too much traffic?
How so?
I didn’t have a problem with the interview. At least Putin is coherent.
