CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said Thursday on “Anderson Cooper 360” that voters will remember President Joe Biden calling Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi “the president of Mexico” in a press conference where he was addressing his age and memory after Special Counsel Robert Hur decided not to charge the president for keeping classified documents.
Hur said Biden was an “elderly man with a poor memory.”
Toobin said, “Mexico? Mexico? Where did that come from? I mean, that’s the only thing anyone is going to remember from this. You know, he was exonerated here, and I think it’s an easy call that he was exonerated, and I think legally he’s never had a problem with this because the issue of criminal intent was quite clearly absent in the Biden case and, certainly according to the accusations in the Jack Smith indictment, is very much present in the Trump case. I think they are very different and the report even spelled this out. But Mexico? I mean, politically, how do you explain that?”

He was NOT exonerated Mr. Tobin the report stated he clearly BROKE THE DAMN LAW but would not be charged because he is a complete drooling MORON!!!

He bragged about doing this while he was "managing" the aftermath of the 10/7 Gaza invasion of Israel.
I had the complete opposite impression. He was openly admitting that he doesn't even have a role to play in high-priority diplomatic and military matters of the White House.

Right, he was not exonerated. As VP he had no authority to possess classified documents let alone store them in his garage next to the trash can. The sickening double standard we have to endure from the MSM is more than l can take at times.
This reminds me of James Comey and his report on Hillary’s situation..
In Hillary’s case , he laid out a series of legal violations committed by Hillary. But then somehow concluded that no reasonable prosecutor would take the case.
Inviting’s case similarly the counsel is laying out strong evidence of legal violations, but is saying that Biden should not go to trial for reasons of being elderly and forgetful.
And all of this sure begs the question as to why is Trump being prosecuted for issues of classified documents and Biden is not.
Toobin is a master something…..
Sorry, the only thing I can recall about Toobin jerkin’ off on a conference call. And he is there ‘expert’? In what, KY Jelly?
Is the real reason Mr. Hur did not recommend charges be filed because of the contents of the classified documents Biden stole which the government does not want the public to know what Biden was up to over the last (according to Joe himself) the last 40 years?
Even actual defective memory should not be an avoid prison card when no possible justification could be offered up.
I am the last one to cut Biden any slack, but the “president of Mexico” thing is no big deal. He was clearly talking about the Middle East and he got the name right, but flubbed it with Mexico, and let’s face it, Mexico is on everyone’s mind.
What people should be focusing on is the “well-intended, elderly man with memory problems” who happens to be president and wants a second term and how the investigators used that as an excuse for letting him get away with keeping the documents illegally.
I think Biden confused Gaza with the Gadsden Purchase.

Where did it come from?? Has Toobin been watching him for the past four years? Biden does this all the time. Its not new.
