The Tooth Fairy Never Looked Like That!

Dressed as the tooth fairy, Joyce Conway-Vervin, Naval Postgraduate Dental School orthodontics technician, reads a book to a child from the Child Development Center (CDC) on Naval Support Activity Bethesda, prior to performing dental screenings. Riding on the annual observance of Children's Dental Health Month, the team will provide dental screenings to children ages 3 to 5, at five CDCs across the NCR. These efforts seek to promote awareness of dental practices and oral health among children, driving home the message of the significant role dental hygiene plays in overall health.

Please remember that The Canteen is here to support

and is family friendly.

Hey there, Kathy.

It’s been a pretty nice several days here. Three more days of low 60s, then 50s move in. Not shabby at all for February. The weekend will be damp but we need it, so bring it on!

No snow and on the plus side of zero up there! Not all that pretty a day, though, but that’s the only down-side I can see.

Ready for a breather tonight or do you even get one?

That is a hard date! I’ve not had a break today at all. Rough time today. Some updates that we didn’t know about made things take longer. We are almost done.

YAAAAAAY!! You finally got out there! I’m glad nothing came up at the last minute to keep you two from your day of fun. Been a long time comin’! How rusty were y’all? :-)

Nothing new here. Just enjoying a week of nice weather.

MORE flippin’ updates???? Dang! And they always make the job harder. Always.
You did say “almost done”. I wish you luck that nothing else pops up.

Well...so much for completion. The paper checks (file) won’t print. Will try again in the morning after contacting help with the system. *sigh*

Neither one of us were too rusty, a couple mags and were both hitting where we shot.

I must say though that son is a better shot than me but it's not really a competition.

I'm glad ammo prices are staying somewhat steady.
