Conservative pundit Ann Coulter expressed her frustration with Republican Trump voters over the weekend and made the case for why she doesn’t believe the former president can beat President Joe Biden in a general election.
“How many people who voted for Biden in 2020 have since switched to Trump?” Coulter asked on X/Twitter before breaking down the electoral math as she sees it:
1) those who voted for Trump but who’ve since died (older white people);
2) immigrants who turned 18 in the last 4 yrs and will vote (minorities);
3) Republicans who voted for Trump in 2020, but have since changed their minds over, e.g. his behavior in the GA runoffs, and the 2022 “red wave” —
… losing election after election for the GOP by demanding that Republicans run on the “stolen 2020 election,” e.g. Blake Masters, Kari Lake, Doug Mastriano, Adam Laxalt, Don Bolduc, Joe Kent, etc.
Coulter dropped her analysis just ahead of the Iowa Republican caucus, in which Trump is expected to win by a wide, if not historic, margin. The last Des Moines Register poll ahead of voting showed Trump with 48 percent support, while Nikki Haley is in second place with 20 percent. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was trailing in third place with 16 percent support.
Coulter followed that thread up a few hours later with another post, writing:

Coulter has broken with Trump in recent years, citing his failure to achieve meaningful immigration reform as the breaking point. The bombastic commentator was once such a big fan and booster of Trump that in August of 2016 she published a book titled, In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!

I gave up on Coulter years ago.
I recently saw an interview she did with Victor Davis Hanson. It seemed like all she could do was object to his rational analysis of Trump’s success, and insult Trump.
I kept wanting to tell her to shut up and let VDH speak, because she isn’t smart enough to tie his shoes.

Coulter is right. There’s an undercurrent of White voters who believe that Trump isn’t going to make good on his promises. They’re understandably frustrated, and they understand the root cause of why the country is in the toilet.
I’m not a Trump fan, but I will vote for him if he is our candidate. Nobody in their right mind. Could vote for walk away Joe. And culture is full of bullshit.
well who the hell is Ann coulter? seriously, who is she? been following national politics for a long time and I have no clue. apparently neither does she. guessing a she from the name but could be wrong.
For the record I have not watched her in about 24 months because I can’t stand her.
