Senate’s Long-Awaited Border Bill Released: Allocates $60 Billion to Ukraine But Only $20 Billion for U.S. Border Security

Sunday released the details of a long-awaited comprehensive border security bill, which also contains a substantial foreign aid component.

The discussions, led by Senators James Lankford (R-OK), Krysten Sinema (I-AZ), and Chris Murphy (D-CT), come after months of negotiations with the Biden regime, seeking to address both the ongoing crisis at the U.S. southern border and foreign policy commitments abroad.

The 370-page deal, according to Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, claims it reflects weeks of good-faith negotiations, balancing domestic concerns with urgent international aid needs.

“As Ukraine runs low on ammunition to fend off Putin’s brutal invasion, it is imperative we finally extend our support,” Murray said in a statement.

..... Snip.....

The comprehensive $118.28 billion national security supplemental package, totaling $118.28 billion, allocates a staggering $60.06 billion to Ukraine in response to Russia’s aggressive military actions.

In contrast, U.S. border security efforts are earmarked to receive $20.23 billion. This disparity in funding allocation has raised eyebrows and sparked a debate over the Senate’s priorities at a time when domestic border security challenges persist.

The substantial financial support for Ukraine overshadows the pressing needs at the U.S. southern border. The border has been a hotbed of crisis, with increasing numbers of illegal aliens, a surge in fentanyl trafficking, and ongoing operational challenges for border enforcement agencies.

The $20.23 billion allocated for border security, though significant, falls short of addressing the full scope of the crisis, especially in comparison to the foreign aid being dispensed.

Since Russia’s invasion in February 2022, the US has committed over $75 billion in assistance, including $46.3 billion in security assistance to Ukraine.

None of the money goes to border security since it still allows 5000 people in a day and its up to Biden (or his handlers) to enforce it anyways.

The Republican House should have blocked ANY AND ALL SPENDING the first chance they got.

Shut down the fed gov and not another dime for anything, until Pedo Joe seals the border.

Unfortunately, it's, already too late.

The only way to enforce the border is for Biden to reverse his executive order killing Trump’s executive orders that actually did enforce the border and disincentivized them from coming in the first place. None of this dream bill is going to be enforced, that is, other than the part where the administration takes the 118 billion and runs, using most of the 20 billion for border “issues”, not for enforcement, but to reimburse Democrat sanctuary jurisdictions that have been whining for the Feds to pick up the bill for their sanctuary virtue signaling that has now buried their cities.

That's just insulting to America. We should deport everyone involved with this travesty to Kiev, which is obviously where their hearts are.

Really though, it makes sense. The goals are to subjugate Russia and to subjugate Americans. Both are a threat to the globalist crowd.

It is the worst bill I’ve ever seen in regards to almost anything except maybe the ACA. But, as to harm to our nation it tops even that.

For one, any litigation regarding anything in the bill would have to be held in the District Court of Washington D.C.

It never really imposes a limit on illegal aliens. Even the 5000 number is a lie.

The entire bill is a travesty. I can’t believe any GOP member would be a part of this bill unless blackmail or extortion was involved. Because anyone who votes for it better be ready to retire. Even cheating wouldn’t get them enough votes to be re-elected.

If it passes, our nation will have no chance of returning to any semblance of freedom and prosperity no matter who wins in November.

How much was Trump trying to get when the Republican Congress shut him out? Was it 20 billion?

Well, you need to start believing. It's credulous people like you who are part of the problem. Seriously. What? You truly think that the only explanation for GOP support for this bill much be either "blackmail" or "extortion"? Cluelessness. Complete cluelessness.

There is no need to be a j/a! Of course I realize most of the GOP members are actually leftists are are on board with selling out our country. If you look at any of the articles or comments I post you would realize I’m no fool when it comes to members of the GOP party. However, there is solid evidence that some people are being blackmailed when it comes to their vote in the House and Senate.

Any Republicans vote to send money to Ukraine and there are consequences I vote here in Pennsylvania and David McCormick will suffer for their folly of sending more money to Ukraine and what President Donald Trump or anyone else has to say won’t matter.

I won’t vote for Mr. McCormick nor my Republican member of the House if any Republicans enable more money for Ukraine that includes a handful in the House voting with the Dems.

Go ahead make my day Mitch.

It isn't looking like it has much of chance of passing in the house.
