Donald Trump said that South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) are on the short list to be his running mate in the 2024 general election.
He also dispelled rumors that he is considering Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as a vice presidential nominee and said his team never reached out to the independent candidates.
Speaking with Fox News Sunday host Maria Bartiromo, Trump said he won't announce who he plans to run with in the 2024 ticket for 'a while.'

Kari Lake is America First, smart and intelligent, and well spoken. She has a spine, is willing to uphold and represent conservative principles, and respects the constitution.
At this point in time, that’s more than enough for me.
How about executive experience with organizations comparable in size and scope to the Executive Branch of the US government?
That would be great but there are not many people in the realm of possibilities that tick every box. As I said, what Kari Lake brings to the table is enough for me at this point in time. The country is hanging by a thread. We need someone who has the guts and the balls to fight back with conservative principles. The onslaught against Trump is what awaits. Not many people can take that kind of abuse. Kari Lake has received that kind of treatment in AZ and she has shown she can take it day in and day out. That’s what we need right now.

Good luck to Senator Tim Scott in entering the Republican Presidential Primary Race. It is rapidly loading up with lots of people, and Tim is a big step up from Ron DeSanctimonious, who is totally unelectable. I got Opportunity Zones done with Tim, a big deal that has been highly successful. Good luck Tim!
