Biden Celebrates Win, Sets Sight on 2024 Race President Joe Biden issued a statement on Saturday, celebrating his victory in the South Carolina primary.
“In 2020, it was the voters of South Carolina who proved the pundits wrong, breathed new life into our campaign, and set us on the path to winning the Presidency,” the president said.
“Now in 2024, the people of South Carolina have spoken again and I have no doubt that you have set us on the path to winning the Presidency again — and making Donald Trump a loser— again.”
President Biden secured a decisive victory in the first Democratic primary, solidifying his position as the leading candidate to represent his party in the upcoming presidential race. The Associated Press projected President Biden as the winner at 7:26 p.m. ET.
“The stakes in this election could not be higher. There are extreme and dangerous voices at work in the country — led by Donald Trump — who are determined to divide our nation and take us backward,” President Biden said in the statement.
“We cannot let that happen. We’ve come a long way these past four years — with America now having the strongest economy in the world and among the lowest inflation of any major economy. Let’s keep pushing forward. Let’s finish what we started — together.”

The media is going bananas over Biden’s “huge win” in the SC primary just as they did for NH.
They certainly did not do this for Trump in 2020 when he won the primaries by massive margins as the incumbent president.
Joe Biden - riding the wave of economic prosperity, renewing our hope, fixing the border mess Trump left him, etc. That’s the narrative that is going strong. And...”he’s not Hitler” and will “defend our democracy.”
Biden not appearing at the podium gives them the ability to create this illusion - and create it they shall. They just use stock video and images in their reports.
He won with no serious opposition. That’s the way democrats like it. No opposition. He’s such a bullshitter. No substance.

My employers warehouse staff is mostly black men. Several of them are Trump. Others are strongly not Biden

Yes and no. The Afro Heritage voter doesn’t know anything whatsoever about government other than the things you have to say to a bureaucrat in order to qualify for a particular benefit. They don’t know who the President is, what the Constitution is, they can’t name any one of the three branches of government, but they can tell you in a flash how much the refundable child care credit is.
