Women voters are giving President Biden’s reelection campaign hope ahead of an expected rematch against former President Trump.
Support for Biden from women is on the rise, a survey published this week found, giving the campaign some optimism amid otherwise tough polling and a challenging 10 months ahead.
The president has put extra attention on appealing to women voters, especially around the anniversary of Roe v. Wade last month. That has dovetailed with stepped-up campaign travel and focus on pivotal states where he needs to win again in 2024, such as South Carolina, Michigan and Nevada.

> Gavin Newsom is like Bill Clinton. Except better looking.
Exactly, how did we end up with liar and serial philanderer Bill Clinton?
Perhaps, because while many/most men typically decide which female dating partners to choose on the basis of their gonads (a common complaint of women everywhere), many/most women decide EVERYTHING on the basis of their gonads.
And many/most women decide everything based on their gonads because they are the weaker sex, and their emotions have been evolved to recognize and favor the tribal chieftain over everyone else.
Note that nation states and voting (probably) did not exist for the entirety of human prehistory, whereas tribal chieftains were (probably) the norm. In prehistory, men were burdened with the responsibility of ensuring the success of the hunt. Women were burdened with the responsibility of ensuring the survival of their children. A successful hunt requires strategy and planning. Men developed strategy and planning skills used to ensure successful hunts. Women developed domestic skills such as gathering plants and weaving which were useful for ensuring children would mature to adulthood.
Women tend not to excel in war and diplomacy. Cases in point, Hillary and Nikki. Exceptions exist, such as Thatcher and Meir. But these women are (probably) exceptions.
Many/most women tend to favor leaders whose stated policies when implemented appear to replicate environments supplied to a tribe by prehistoric tribal chieftains. The analogy breaks down in practice because tribal chieftain skills do not translate well into nation state diplomacy and modern industrial scale war waging skills. And (simple) prehistoric bartering skills do not translate well into understanding (complex) fiat currency based economies.
An end result of modern feminist-influenced diplomacy is the egregious and largely male bloodshed in nation states such as ukraine.
Modern muslim expansion seems to be based in part on extrapolating perhistoric tribalism to the nation-state level, and this in part (imho) likely contributes to defacto feminist approval of muslim societies.
Yes.
Most women are pro choice, easily influenced, and are being told they have to hate Trump.
Hell, many are now turning anti semetic for the same reason.
I second that as a rural woman.
True. But, and this is the kicker, there are large numbers of white women who HATE TRUMP.
And they will demand their sex partners vote accordingly.
BINGO! Another vote for abolishing the 19th
Also, a lot of women who are bothered by the Birdbrain comment and have a history of voting D because strong men scare them, have sons and brothers who could be drafted.
Furthermore, I don’t think continuing layoff announcements are going to help Biden.
Women are more willing than men to trust authority (fake news) and follow consensus opinion (fake news), so they believe the Democrat lies (fake news). I’m not saying they are easier to brainwash…
Re: 118 - Do you have some survey numbers that show what you believe are accurate results for support for abortion?
We need to rate these three groups on the crazy/hot scale.
I think originally, the idea behind the man voting wasn’t intended to exclude or disenfranchise women (or children for that matter), it was thought of as one vote per household, which was presumed to be in agreement.
The man represented his family in casting the vote. I can see why women would want to have their own vote - but I don’t think it was generally the intention to exclude them in the first place. Absent the issue of abortion, I imagine most men and women would be politically aligned - since they likely share economic circumstance and would suffer or benefit the same way from policy platforms..
I imagine in those days it would have even seemed a bit silly and redundant for both husband and wife to vote.
At my church we still have this rule that women can’t join the clergy and some women resent that and are trying to change it. I just laugh because although I’m a male, the idea of being a minister does not appeal to me AT ALL.
So, a women wanting to join the clergy seems akin to my wife insisting on taking the trash cans down to the road. I thought taking the trash down and joining the clergy were unpleasant chores men do - but if my wife wants to - she is welcome to take the trash down AND become a minister.
There’s not much chance I’ll ever come to church and listen to her preach though, because I don’t go listen to the men preach either except weddings and funerals when I have to I choice.
I know, voting is a bit different - especially when there are issues that affect women differently - but I think it’s mostly another way for Marxists to create social divisions which they can exploit.
The middle group is full of feminine beauty, the third group has some, and the first group has some but they don’t take care of themselves like the middle group and they tend to hard partying and tattoos, smoking, and boozing.
Hanging out with men is rough on women.
(Re: 118 - Do you have some survey numbers that show what you believe are accurate results for support for abortion?)
What part of my post suggests anything that brings that question?
All I say is that the MSM generally promotes liberal agendas.
Not sure how I feel about women being ordained . . . . . .
When it comes to voting rights, per our country, it was based upon property ownership prior to suffrage.
Considering where things stand in the USA nowadays, that same criteria would exclude a significant percentage of men as well.
My main anxiety pertaining to the outcome of the 2024 GE is the fact that so far every ballot measure on the first 8 states to vote on protecting abortion rights has PASSED.
In an ideal world, the overturning of Roe v Wade should have been seen as a victory for the unborn and the sanctity of human life.
With the results on these subsequent voter, I view the SCOTUS decision as a Pyrrhic achievement, especially for the GOP’s chances to win at the polls going forward.
Finally, I harbor a deep moral objection to the way the ruling sent abortion rights (back) to the states because I believe it violates the equal protection provision(s) established in the 14th Amendment.
Specifically, I live in Maryland where an unborn child has ZERO protection from being aborted WHILE another unborn baby say in Alabama stands a much greater chance at survival, being born.
I guess I’ve gone a bit afield in this post, just wanted to express my feelings on what’s weighing on my mind.

Yes, true women want what other women want. Trump and complete males.
The jealous beasts undermine what they cannot have.
Yes, they want him (Trump and us real men), but can’t have him/us. So they’ll do anything and say anything to undermine reality out of jealousy. The spirit of Jezebel.
Women want what other women want. And it’s not the false decrepit one.
What I can’t wrap my head around is the fact that womenkind - who I thought would be the fiercest protectors of defenseless babies - born or unborn - would be squarely on the side they are on.
My wife (72) is a nurse midwife and she is simply dumbfounded at how many of her female colleagues in the business of delivering babies are at the same time militant about there being no limits to a woman’s right to get an abortion.
She just can’t square it, and neither can I.
I understand how much having a baby you didn’t plan for could upend your life.. but so what? It’s still a baby. Put the baby up if adoption if you don’t want it!
When my mother became bedridden and ornery and needed round-the-clock care that we couldn’t afford to contract out - I wasn’t thrilled and it up-ended our lives. But did I fight to euthanize her? No.
These people are either deluded or they are monsters. I’m not sure.
Women have always voted 80-20 democrat-republican. This isn’t new. They’re genetically predisposed to socialism. The Founding Fathers knew it even then.
