Being on the lower end of the food chain being a farmer let me state my opinion on this.

Reason for high food prices

High land cost

High energy oosts

High labor coats

High equipment costs - Just paid $63,000 for half ton pickup

High employee benefit costs

And above all high regulatory costs

Biden must be talking about those greedy property taxes that have skyrocketed as property values have increased throughout the country?

And the greedy CO2 tax which is defacto levied in secret on everything by the EPA.

Or the IRS and the fact that as incomes go up because of inflation, more people find themselves in higher income tax brackets.

Biden must be taking about the increase in taxes on many C corporations.

Maybe he’s talking about the greed by government and the taxes collected when you inherit?

He surely isn’t talking about those actually working for a living and producing wealth which is being taxed by a government that spent over 150 billion in Ukraine on a war that was never even necessary!!!

https://www.historyhit.com/why-did-the-soviet-union-suffer-chronic-food-shortages/

In the first half of the 20th century, Joseph Stalin implemented drastic economic reforms that saw farms collectivised, peasants criminalised and deported en masse and grain requisitioned in unsustainable quantities.

History is what you have lived in your lifetime. All the current generation knows is global warming, racism etc. They are about to have a history lesson.

If blaming the stores for high prices gains enough traction, stores in the ghetto will burn even more. Count on it this summer.

Joe understands economics enough to run the very successful Biden crime family.

When it comes to real economics, neither Joe, nor his handlers have a clue. They do understand command economies, even though that has never worked.

Joe Biden has suggested supermarkets should defy the laws of supply and demand to lower soaring prices that threaten his chances of re-election.

'There are still too many corporations in America ripping people off: price gouging, junk fees, greedflation, shrinkflation,' he said at a speech in South Carolina last week.

Says the biggest crook of all.

January 2022. Illinois farmer with almost 2,000 acres, showed up and explained the cost of fertilizer produced from natural gas - he was set to pay 3 - 4 times what he paid in 2021.

Thanks to Joe Biden, and Democrats, and “expert” liberals, who do not consider how many processes and skills - planning stages - were upset, when Biden began his war against natural gas.

After many years, on the path to transition for coal-power to natural gas-power generation.

Those vile farmers and supermarkets are the enemies of mankind. End them,
I tell ya! /s

Another day in the twisted mind of a Marxist.

Do folks understand that Marxist leaders of Russia and China killed off
in the neighborhood of 70 million of their citizens by micro-managing
their food supply?

Food for thought…
