Rumors that Ukraine’s top commander may be dismissed expose rifts in Ukraine top brass

Rifts within Ukraine’s top leadership have burst into the open following swirling rumors that the country’s top military chief will be dismissed amid reported tensions with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The rumors that Valerii Zaluzhnyi would be sacked were denied by Zelenskyy’s office and the Defense Ministry this week and the immensely popular top commander still retains his post. But the reports have fueled expectations of his imminent resignation, which could be a boon for Russia as the war approaches its second anniversary.

His departure would be the most severe shakeup of Ukraine’s top military brass since the Russian invasion as the country grapples with dire ammunition and personnel shortages following a failed summer counteroffensive. It also could hurt the morale of Ukrainian troops, who have been fighting grinding battles for nearly two years.

Valerii Zaluzhnyi is a national hero. Zelensky won't be able to dismiss him.

Lincoln went through 4 top generals before settling.

Of course the North had superiority in men, weapons and supplies.

Ukraine does not have that luxury.

Better tactics. Better leaders. And they’re fighting at home. Just like the Confederacy. The difference is that they’re receiving lots of aid from the West. But all of that may dry up.

In real world, this is not a bad job. In democrat party/MSM/warmonger world apparently they are supposed to be enjoying a meal and cigars in Moscow.

General Zaluzhnyi has not been shy about pointing out that Zelensky’s presidential powers end March 31, 2024. It will be interesting to follow developments in the coming months.

From the article: Zaluzhnyi enjoys widespread popularity across the country and the military, but he has had been at odds with Zelenskyy since saying in an interview with The Economist last year that the fighting with Russia had stalemated. The president denied that was the case.

Time for the Dancing Queen to pack his leather jump suits and spiked heels and run for his nearest yacht.

His days are numbered.

I think Zaluzhnyi would sign the cease fire with Putin. He's a pragmatist. He'll give Putin the occupied oblasts if they stop fighting.

It'll give Ukraine time to get more advanced weapons from the West. Zaluzhnyi knows that. He said 150,000 Russians killed were not enough to stop the war.

“Nato is cracking”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

On that point you are mistaken.

Thank’s to Putin’s miscalculations, NATO is actually thriving now. It’s in full expansion mode. Turkey just granted Sweden into NATO, and Hungary said last week that it will quickly grant Sweden’s NATO membership as well. Finland already joined NATO about a year ago. Ukraine is next on the NATO list, once Russia stops its war there.

All polls in Europe now shows that European citizens love NATO these days. It’s NATO-Superstar! :)
Thanks to Trump, many EU countries now meet their 2% GDP spending for military expenditures. Some are even at 4%, outpacing America!

Putin is making NATO Great Again!
