Gina Swoboda, an election activist endorsed by former President Donald Trump, has been chosen as the next chair of the Arizona Republican Party, a leadership post that puts her center stage in the battleground state for November's presidential election.
Fox10 television in Phoenix reported that Swoboda garnered 67% of the votes at Saturday's state party meeting. The GOP declined to confirm that margin of victory to The Associated Press.
Swoboda replaces Jeff DeWit, who was halfway through his two-year term. He resigned Wednesday after a leaked audio recording revealed him offering a job to U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake and asking her to name a price that would keep her out of the 2024 election cycle.

Anyone know anything about her? Is this good or bad? I know she was endorsed in some way by Trump, but it is sometimes hard to tell a good candidate from politically required endorsements.

I was on a conference call last year with 70 Republicans from around my blue state, and what I found out about voter rolls, their maintenance, and how hard it is to get even a single name off the voter rolls was depressing to me.
I am going to investigate further, and she sounds like the right kind of person.

She was drafted by the Mets, but decided on politics.
I love that she is an election integrity advocate but the democrats seem to run circles around the republicans in arizona—even when its obvious they are cheating and its obvious that they are bold faced liars.
I wish her well. I pray she gets better results than others there in arizona.

Not only were the mccain republicans in charge of elections in arizona, they had the judicial system ignore evidence of election fraud, and put extreme restrictions on what could be presented in court....
So when you have the ‘republican’ party as well as the judicial system against you, even with evidence, you can’t get anywhere if no one wants to look at it.

Swoboda is a surname of Czech origin. A variant of Svoboda, it is popular mainly among West Slavic nations. In Czech, the word’s primary meaning is ‘freedom’ or ‘liberty’.

The whole radical slate lost, top to down. It was not even close.
Kari Lake wanted her, and that's good enough for me.
