“It all went downhill after the Airline Deregulation Act”
It’s arguable. I know, FOR SURE, that I would not have been able to do nearly the amount of travel that I have done if airline prices were still set at the levels they were before prices were decontrolled. Basically discretionary airline travel was for the rich and top levels of the Upper Middle Class, which is well above my level.
...and even back then, the fatal accident rate was FAR HIGHER than today. But I do admit, more legroom and better service then!
“It worked on me”
Not on me, between Pre-Check, Globalist Entry, and sometimes Premium Economy, I’m fine traveling, and about the only thing now, for people using the above, is the constraint on liquids.
I’ll only stop traveling when the government now longer permits me to travel.
I don’t see anything wrong with airline pilots asking Google for landing instructions instead of bothering a DEI ditz. Better yet, turn the whole air traffic control process over to AI. What could possibly go wrong? /s
Precisely.
NOt only do they have a continuous party on board, but the people are great.

TSA Boarding Process:
Peachy is a pitiful joke.
Leftism destroys everything it touches.
So long as the important people have private planes, YOUR concerns mean nothing.
Nothing.
Want a change? New law mandating DEI for all private planes. Cockpit must match society in NYC.
Funny thing, though...
When I recently flew out of New York's LaGuardia Airport, the pre-check line at security was longer than the Premier line for First Class passengers! The only difference was that I had to take my shoes and belt off on the Premier line.

Yes, thanks…
I remember flying in the regulated airline days. But what people forget is how expensive flying was. If you index for inflation, an old regular seat was much more expensive than today’s first class seat.
