The governor of Massachusetts is calling on the Biden administration to act, as nearly 100 migrants camp out in Boston’s international airport while the city’s shelters are at capacity.
Dozens of migrant families, including several with young children, have been sleeping on the cold floor of Logan International Airport’s international terminal, reports the New York Post.
The sad scenes look similar to those at the Chicago O’Hare Airport, which local reports have described as a “scene from Mad Max,” a dystopian movie set in a post-apocalyptic world.

Send 500 busloads to DC. Follow that with 100 planes full.
Do that ever week.
Bury DC in “migrants”.
L
Abbott will help. He’ll send more so they can keep them company!
I love to see these blue sanctuary cities brought to their knees by their own hubris.
We have like 4M of them just in California.
Will take > 2 years at that rate just to get all of them to DC.
Should be quite a windfall for the bus and airline companies.
But, but, but……..
“We’re a sanctuary state/city!” Ha!
Nobody is looking at the cost to American taxpayers with 10 million illegals not working, free food and housing, free education, free medical. Also the additional transportation costs, law enforcement....
This is when Abbott should send 4 or 5 planeloads to Boston...
The help isn’t from the biden administration. It’s from US.
Abbott is doing more to permanently fix the border situation than any Republican president ever has. He’s making Democrats live with the consequences of their BS, and they are screaming uncle. Maybe a manned border wall is starting to make sense to some of these fools.
Sanctuary airport
I agree, but at least Abbott (and DeSantis to an extent) has taken the issue to where it needs to be SEEN.
I have absolutely NO problem with any state to refuse public money for ANY food/housing/health/school, you name it, to these criminals. A couple of nights without a free meal, offer them a one-way ticket to wherever they came from. It'd be way cheaper in the long run.
Remember her name she is a shooting star in the Dem Party. She is aiming for 2028. This monster went to Mexico as MA AG and not only invited the Illegals to MA, she gave them instruction how to get on the system. Now that she has destroyed the budget in Boston, she has filed a bill to triple our auto excise tax. This monster needs to be arrested for treason. She hates us!
“Dozens”...so, about the same number of folks that turned up on Martha’s Vinyard a year or so ago, only to be summarily ejected within 48 hours by the residents, who no doubt fully support the state’s “Sanctuary” designation, as long as it happens “Not Here”.
Massachusetts, like all Liberals, has no problem being generous with other people’s resources, but start goring their Sacred Cow and suddenly Something Must Be Done...at least to move “those people” somewhere else.
Judith Durham and the Seekers might have brought calm to the assemblage of illegals and citizens at the airport:

“In 2000, Judith Durham broke her hip but did, however, perform ‘The Carnival is Over’ from a wheelchair at the 2000 Paralympics closing ceremony shortly afterwards. In 2003, Durham suffered a stroke that diminished her ability to read and write, although her singing ability was unaffected.”
From Independent Australia.
She died Aug.5, 2022.
a comment on site with the song:
....it takes me back to Girl Scout camp singing this around our nightly campfire. Judith is probably singing this in heaven for the angels!
I really like that idea.
Martha’s Vinyard has hundreds and hundreds of vacant tourist facilities. Where are all the kind people??
Send them to the Obama estate!
There are the direct costs for shelter and food subsidies, may be something on the order of $100 billion a year for 10 million people? But the indirect costs would be nearly incalculable, including such things as increased cost of housing for renters and business travelers; health care costs, education, possibly even inflation for basic goods... everything big and small right down to road maintenance and street cleaning. Whatever comes from the federal taxpayer probably pales to what it is costing the states and cities and individuals.
Dozens of migrants, huh? Wow, that’s rough.
Good grief, the floor isn’t going to be cold, the terminals are heated
