Under Bloomberg (with policies created by Guiliani) NY City hit the lowest murder rate in more than a century. total murders turned up under De Blasio, and then exploded higher since 2019
If you look at NYPD and City Statistics, while burglary is higher than under Bloomberg, their statistics show other felonies have remained stable over last 25 years. I find it hard to believe. I imagine many people just don’t bother to report crimes any longer
Certainly, quality-of-life clearly has declined. That has got to be a leading indicator for more crime in the future

Even though young and having fun and in NYC on their own, they were both ready to come home after 4 days. Said she would go back on a trip now and then but no way she would live there.
