Vinny Gambini: Well, how could you be sure you used 16 foot-pounds of torque?
Mona Lisa Vito: Because I used a Craftsman model 1019 Laboratory Edition Signature Series torque wrench. The kind used by Caltech high energy physicists. And NASA engineers.

Nothing more than usual. FR just reports on every glitch to build a narrative.
All it take is one high profile incident and every media outlet starts to looks for more stories.
The flying public has no idea how often aircraft experience issues...warning lights, system failures, missing screws, and even pieces falling off.
There are limits and work arounds that allow aircraft to continue to fly until parts and technicians can meet up at a good location for repairs. That's how it works.

One cost may account for the entire wheel and tire assembly plus the man hours to change them out.

That doesn’t look like the modern barnyard line up of stewardesses flight attendants.

Fortunately, I started my business travel back in that era.

I don’t blame Boeing for something like this. This is obviously a maintenance issue.

The guy who was supposed to tighten the bolts on the tire was watching LeBron on his little TV. He wanted to see how many he waas going to drop on the Celtics. He needs to pay more attention. Probably issued a verbal......
