“This is not over,” Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted on Monday evening after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Border Patrol agents can cut the razor-wire border barriers along the Rio Grande. The court granted an emergency appeal from the Biden administration allowing federal agents to access the Texas border with Mexico being fenced off by the Texas Military Department.

If Biden can ignore SCOTUS on student loan forgiveness, then Texas can ignore SCOTUS on border fences.
It works both ways.
Illegal aliens are getting injured by razor wire! Good, I say. Don’t cross. Obviously ignoring the signs, but razor wire is hard to ignore when digging into your flesh. So stay away!
This federal government is nuts with a nutty resident in the White House!
.
Big Central Government Deep State adherents aren’t going to rule for anything but the Fed Govt.
Roberts twists arms. We’ve seen it over and over.
How’s his Leak “Investigation” going?
Ok, Drop Back a hpndred yards and build a new Texas State line.
Do not buy new houses, which are mainly built by invaders.
Do not eat fast food in California.
Learn to cook using minimally processed food.
Avoid having work done if typically done by foreigners.
It’s over unless he responds with military force.
The legal precedents and renewed ruling are clear. There is no legal avenue to resist.
So I’m chalking his statement up to bluster.
Every state of the union, has the right to protect its borders.
Also, the right to defend the state from invasions by people, by disease, by crops and species that the people of the state determine to be hostile.
if the order is not accompanied by a legal argument, if i were a texas citizen, i would be offended.
no argument =?= insult
it seems like a backhanded slap, along the lines of “this should be obvious” (when it is in actuality not obvious)
another tack would be to pile on the barbed wire so high as to make it effectively impractical to remove. allow the federales access, but no vehicles and no tools.
pass a state law that says no tools within 200 yards of the border.
then selectively enforce it (in the democrat party tradition) against the federales.
This could be day one.
And every Republican controlled state should be activating a company level force to send to Texas to assist them.
One to two month deployments. Keep sending them until it’s over
Or replace razor wire with electric chain link
Given a very narrow reading of the Constitution, the decision may be strictly correct , but we are facing an obvious emergency on te Border and they could have just kicked the can down the road and let Texas take care of business until they heard the case.
What is going on in our court system is eriley reminicest of the similar judicial behavior in Venexuela that allowed Hugo Chavez to take over power, destroy the democratic system and ultimately consolidate total power for his communist regime.
One of the signature features of Hugo Chavez's strategies to destroy Venezuelan democracy was the importation of tens of thousands of military age young men from places like Cuba, Nicaragua , Columbia Guatemala to act as foreign mercenaries who had no qualms about oppressing native Venezuelans in his version of the Nazi Brown Shirts to terrorize, assault and even assassinate his opposition
The parallels between the actions of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela and The Democrat Party in today's America are very disturbing.
