Abigail Disney is making headlines again, this time for her involvement in a campaign by some of the world's ultrawealthy to convince government leaders to tax them more.
Disney is one of over 250 millionaires and billionaires who recently signed an open letter saying they were "proud to pay more" in taxes to "address the dramatic rise of economic inequality."
Disney, who's the grandniece of Walt Disney, is one of the most vocal supporters of higher taxes for the wealthy among the wealthy themselves. She's also a film producer who's frequently criticized the House of Mouse over the years. Disney was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Business Insider.

Not a thing. It is just something that she says for virtue signaling. If you want to pay more taxes, the IRS will not stand in your way.
Ok, you ditz! Just write a check and send it to the IRS. They’ll willingly cash it.
THIS is why billionaires should never leave a single penny to their offspring.
She should take a trip to the wild side and drop down just one tax bracket. Let’s see how she feels about making $232k per year and having 35% (81k) ripped away from her. Could she survive a whole year on $150k? How about a month?
Disney Florida would make a wonderful illegal alien shelter.

OK lets take their money if it will make them 'proud'. We can fully fund the wall and immigration enforcement.
I don’t get it. One place in the article says she is Walt Disney‘s grand niece, then elsewhere, it says he is her grandfather.
Like others are saying, just let her pay more money in taxes or to charity. And if she doesn’t want to cash in on her family name, why not take her husband’s surname instead of keeping her maiden name?
Unless someone leads by example, you know they’re full of it.
About 5 years ago she was on CNBC spouting this same BS. The afternoon host said, “Why don’t you just open your checkbook and starting writing checks to the Federal gov’t- you’re worth $500 million!!”
Her tune quickly changed
“Disney is one of over 250 millionaires and billionaires who recently signed an open letter saying they were “proud to pay more” in taxes”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Abby, baby, make your check payable to “Eccl 10:2”. I’ll see that it gets into the right hands.
Exactly—I can fix any and every problem there is on the planet.
Trust me.
Mail the check now!
She runs her mouth alot but she sends no mohney...
None of them do...just blabber on about it.
She could also push to house the illegals in her personal abode and on the vast plains of Disneyland and Disney in FL....but that ain’t happenin either. Call it something catchy like invaderville and put it next to the Fageautableau.
Disgusting,,,didn’t work for a damn thing she has...
I love it when people will hundreds of millions of dollars
level of wealth, try to virtue signal about giving away
some of it, as if they’ll miss a meal or two. As if!
She wants this for everyone, right down to $10.00 in annual
income.
Then the government will burn right through it and demand
more.
NO! Quit spending so much, giving money we don’t have
away until we are totally bankrupt... even more than
we are.
Right, hypocrites, send in an extra check if you don’t think you pay enough. Like Buffett always complaining he doesn’t pay enough and then fighting the IRS for years over a huge billion dollar tax bill. Shut up and pay it big mouth.
“Seriously, what’s stopping her from paying more?”
She herself is stopping it: She can voluntarily pay excess taxes if she felt the need to. So, she is just virtue signaling.
Watch them scream if they lift the cap on SS taxes.
Paying more in taxes helps no one, but it does help to further bloat government, which exacerbates the problem. Investing that extra money in smaller businesses or trade schools would provide more bang for the buck and help more people than government ever could. But these idiots can’t, or won’t, grasp that.
Princess Abbey doesn’t sound like she takes this crap very seriously.
