U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon on Friday granted James Cromitie, 58, compassionate release from prison, six months after the three other members of the "Newburgh Four" were freed. The group was arrested in 2009 on charges of conspiracy to bomb Jewish buildings in New York and shoot down National Guard planes.
The group was convicted in 2011 and sentenced to twenty-five years in prison.
Last July, Judge McMahon ordered the other three conspirators released on the grounds that they had been manipulated into the plot by the FBI...

I was at work the night the “attack” was supposed to happen.
My job is in a direct line from the one runway at Stewart.
Every aircraft the Air National Guard guys had scrambled and left.
Being at work and having a C-5 flying nape of the Earth directly overhead was....
Uncomfortable.
Helicopters, C-130’s, heck I swear they even dusted off a Piper Cub to fly off post with. (Mild exaggerating there, but not by much)
THEN the media had crowing articles about how “we got ‘em!”
Something never truly sat right with me about it.
Never could put a finger on it.
But since the J6 Feeb training bomb and the Gretchen Whitmer kidnap “plot”?
Yeah, I can guess what actually went down.
Moslem terrorists targeting Jews. That’s why the rebuke of the FBI. No J6 people can expect similar compassionate release.
How many people in prison can say the same thing, manipulated into whatever conspiracy they were convicted of? I think the simplest solution is to pass a law, and it is a shame we actually need a law to accomplish it, but a law that says: “No officer, employee, or representative of the government, shall be allowed to lie or mislead in any verbal or written communication or action with a penalty of 10 years in prison and a personal fine of $100,000.” Make it personal and put some teeth into it. Our public employees should be above reproach, never lying. Period.
A lot more than that and civil liability as well to the victims that cannot be discharged in bankruptcy.

This has likely been going on for decades. The FIB is totally and irredeemably corrupt.
There was an FBI Muslim informant apparently entrapping the people in this case.
Lets ask the tough question.
Does the federal government (DHS-FBI) create-manufacture terrorism-extremism through its undercover activities?
Their operations should be about stopping such activities not inciting such activities in angry and or mentally ill members of the public.
