European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Friday that the only peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict included the creation of a Palestinian state, and he suggested this might need to “be imposed from the outside,” without Israel’s agreement.
“The actors are too opposed to be able to reach an agreement autonomously,” Borrell said. “If everyone is in favor of this solution, the international community will have to impose it.”

How about giving the Palis part of France or Germany? Jordan, etc. won’t take them so it’s up to the EU to give up just a tiny bit of territory. Then they could move their migrants there and get a double bonus.

I have no doubt about it for a second. Most of Europe has been emasculated, and they depend upon others for their own self defense. When I was living there, the low numbers of Alpha males was obvious.
If they attempt to force Israel to do anything Israel is against, I have no doubt that Israel will stomp the EU pussies but hard.

I think the group to fear here is not the EU but the US government.
There is a considerable element in the government (particularly in the State Dept) that flat out detests Israel. They’ll work to no ends to bend Israel to accept a two-state “solution”.
Anyone out there who (a) still believes a two state solution is pragmatic and doable is extremely naive or extremely malicious in their thinking.
Even the Palestinians, Hamas, ISIS, Hezbollah, etc don’t want a two-state solution.
