When some asks me how’s it going today, I reply “just living WHAT’S LEFT of the American dream.” The American Dream we all once espoused about is over. It will never get back to its former self. The Republic is dying. We could not fight a major WW again, like WWII. We don’t even have the industrial power any longer to build the planes, ships, tanks, weapons, bullets, bombs, nor do we, in my humble opinion, have the youth that would fight a war like that. They’d rather negotiate and give it all away. Nope, America is on the far side of the mountain, heading down. We are running out of people to hold it up as it is.

I get tired of hearing that excuse. The House controls appropriations, and the power to DENY funding for the Left’s agenda is a powerful club to wield. They can and should be willing to stop the entire government if necessary to get dems and RINOs to actually live up to their oaths and put the country’s security before their own craven personal interests. It is beyond belief that we actually have American politicians refusing to secure the country’s border unless they first get support for their personal political agenda. They should be thankful that we’re only threatening funding for their pet agenda instead of immediately hanging them from lampposts for such treason.
Exactly. Mike should be saying one item at a time only. Border control FIRST. Then take up the next item. No more continuing resolutions or fully funding departments & programs that are unconstitutional or just bad policy.
He knows how to negotiate? We will see soon enough if he knows how to WIN.
