Puget Sound Energy is asking its customers to voluntarily reduce their natural gas and electricity usage during the evenings.
“Due to the extreme cold temperatures facing our area, regional utilities are experiencing higher energy use than forecasted, and we need to reduce strain on the grid,” said a spokesperson.
Officials are also asking customers to limit their use of hot water.
“We appreciate your assistance in supporting our communities throughout the region,” continued the spokesperson.

I guess no one’s getting to work in their EV.
So, let me get this straight. Limiting the use of “fossil fuels” is the key to preventing the “rise” of global temperatures, yet, by NOT meeting these goals, the global temperatures are - falling, resulting in the ferocity of the storms and cold now assaulting the world.
The use or the non-use of “fossil fuels” does not result in the difference of a pinch of - salt - in the overall “change of climate”, which is being pitched as one of the most important of existential threats to humanity.
Its all about control of the masses, create a deliberate or false shortage to inflict fear

If they’re serious about reducing usage, all they have to do is remove a couple more hydroelectric dams….
