This is why many people ‘announce’ and run for office, especially the President. If some fools want to give money, the ‘candidate’ can have limousines, great hotels, etc. Their supporters can form ‘nonprofits’ and rake in $$$ (paying themselves a pretty penny). Mrs Bernie Sanders has made beaucoup $$$. There is also a threshold to spend other people’s money (taxpayers) If enough fools support, they can access the Federal campaign dollars.
One other benefit of running is the Drive-By Media will forever place this in the introduction “Former Presidential Candidate....”
