Article II, Section 4 in the constitution states this:
The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
Currently in vogue for the Democrats is the phrase “no one is above the law.” In the Constitution, “high crimes” and “misdemeanors” aren’t defined so both are subject to subjective ethical value judgements. What if some laws are unjust, then should no one be above the unjust laws?
As can be noted, a sense of morality or ethics is necessary to judge whether any particular misconduct is a high crime and misdemeanor, or whether a law is truly unjust and need not be obeyed. If an elected representative lies, steals, commits adultery, or murders, then the organization is doomed to fail—unless it’s a criminal organization. Similarly, if most citizens begin to lie, steal, commit adultery, and murder, then the society becomes utter insecure chaos.
Another thing to note is that no law is really absolute, and each law has a real world exception(s). You may get away with murder if you are proven to be mentally ill or insane, and you may be pardoned for stealing if you and your family are starving and no charity, government agency, or good Samaritan will help. There are plenty of other examples which are too numerous to list with their own justification for breaking the law in some cases.
Could we reach a reasonable consensus on what constitutes a high crime and misdemeanor? Starting a nuclear war, treason, bribery, a president murdering a political rival, and a first term president succeeding in rigging an election to win a second term come to my mind when it comes...

"Democratic" means the people get to vote as opposed to a monarchy or a dictatorship.

Democracy is incompatible with the Rule of Law.
Laws must be either created or nullified for democracy to be sustained.
Democracy - the rule of the majority as the appointed leaders determine.
Any Laws that stand in the way of the majority’s [constantly changing] will must be changed, ignored and nullified.
Beside, being among the appointed leaders is a gig you don’t want to lose (keep you head about you!).

Trump needs to schedule a town hall at a studio near the Harvard campus with Jewish students. All should all wear their yarmulke. He’d have to be careful with his democrat criticism and what the left really really thinks of them. He could then ask them why 75% of them still vote for the left. Bring up history, policy, and antisemite statements.
Every Jew in the country would be watching.
Townhalls-my problem is the ‘moderators-don’t need any. Trump can run the meeting with one assistant calling out whose turn it is to ask the next question. The start of the get together can start with a 10 minute speech.
We ain’t moral and ethical, that’s for sure.

Through no actions of my own the voters of my state of Michigan produced a victory for Jennifer Granholm and Gretchen Whitmer as governors and Proposal 3 making abortion rights fully guaranteed in the Michigan Constitution.

Yep, and our Constitution was written by people who were While, Male, landowners (as I understand it), and it was written by people of the same type.
They probably wouldn’t have bothered writing a Constitution if they knew that the Tribalists (people other than the above) would get to vote and thus would simply use it to seize power for themselves.

Agreed, we're supposed to be a representative republic, not a democratic anything!
Seems to me the Founding Fathers were kind of naïve if they thought the people were moral and ethical. People have always been immoral and unethical since Adam and Eve. Surprised the Republic has survived this long.
