Fifteen radical left State Attorneys General from across the nation sent a letter on Tuesday, asking the Biden Regime’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention to ban private citizens from purchasing 5.56-millimeter rounds manufactured at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.
Instead, they want these rounds to be reserved only for the military. They must have forgotten the Founding Fathers’ intent with the Second Amendment.
New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is currently suing the NRA, ran for office on taking on the NRA and slammed the group as a “terrorist organization,” is leading this effort. Back in March 2022, a Manhattan judge blocked Letitia James’ failed attempt to shut down the National Rifle Association (NRA).
The letter states, “We ask your Office to investigate the contracting and manufacturing practices that led to so many billions of military-grade rounds being sold into our communities, and to issue a public report with recommendations about how to end the diversion of military ammunition into civilian hands. In the long term, we ask the White House to ensure that future production contracts prohibit the sale of military weapons and ammunition to civilians.”
Meanwhile, Democrats across the nation are complicit in the invasion at our southern border, where over 11 million illegals, who are mainly military-age males and include many known or suspected terrorists, have invaded the US on their open border invitation.
Do you think these people are going to follow our gun laws when they come to a neighborhood near you?

So illegals are allowed?
Stuff bought by contracting officers [think DEI woke bureaucracts] in DC provided by the lowest "qualified" bid.
this could be interpreted as a request to stop making 'good working ammunition" and as such the request is too broad to have any meaning.
"We have to ban assault weapons."
"What's an assault weapon?"
"It's whatever we say it is. Oh, and we need to ban military grade ammunition too."
"What's military grade ammunition? Oh, wait, let me guess..."
.
I’ll take factory 9mm NATO over anybody’s reload (including my own) for IDPA or 2-gun. Same for factory 5.56mm.

7.62 x 25mm.....is a great FAST round.
Their hatred of free people is satanic in it’s intensity.
Only “Crossman” ammo is government approved for civilian use.
30-06 and 6.5mm are very fast and flat out to a hundred yards out in the open.
Military grade ammunition: any ammunition with a propellant.
Non-military grade ammunition: any ammunition with a rubber suction cup on the end and fired by a drawstring.
That leaves BB guns and pellet guns in a dangerous gray area. The dems will start on those next.
Howabout 200M US citizens calling for a ban on democrats ever holding office starting this minute.

Nor do I. And I've really tried to recover it all after that unfortunate boating mishap. But it must have washed way down river by now. Oh well.
Hilarious. For those who don’t know “Military Grade” ammunition is Full Metal Jacket ammunition aka solid ball. The Geneva Convention forbids the military from using hollow points and other “self defense” ammunition that is commonly sold in the private sector.
Yes, you read that right. The ammo sold to the private sector is actually deadlier than the ammo the military is allowed to use. FMJ ammo is typically used for target practice. Its cheaper than self defense ammo.
I had a .270...bolt action. But sold it and bot a .308 lever action rifle.
I used to hunt way more than I should have....Ha!!
I bow hunt more.....now. It's peaceful....
That could be any modern ammo. Military grade are merely specifications. Much of today’s ammo is produced to this as a minimum standard.
