On Sunday, House Speaker Mike Johnson, together with Senate leaders, announced a new $1.59 trillion spending bill aimed at avoiding a looming government shutdown. Contrary to everything House GOP firebrands have been promising, the measure does nothing to address the ongoing chaos on the southern border. We discuss the official reasons Republicans are agreeing to this deal and if it’s become apparent that Johnson is no different than ousted House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

ssitant Democrat after all.
They still say “fold” as if it was a card game between defending the Constitution and destroying it. Both “players” are hell-bent on shredding the Constitution.
GOP caves to enemy.
Has something like this ever happened in history? I’ll have to pore over some thick history books at the library to find out.

just another small johnson politicians.
Where is the bill? All you have posted is a blurb from the John Birch Society.
Let’s see the bill so we can determine if your sensationalist headline bears any semblance to reality. If it does, then Johnson deserves to be pilloried.
The House of Representatives has the power to refuse to fund the government until things like fraudulent elections with mail in ballots from an army of phantom voters, or open borders gets fixed. They just won’t shut the government down because they don’t care enough about the country to save it. Getting the special interests their money is what is most important to these RINOs.
It is time to create the MAGA Party. Accept no substitutes!
Just take over the GOP and let the RINOs create their own third party, or join the Democrats where they belong.

Folding? You could make origami figures out of Republicans.
Of course they do, some things can never change.
Their wealth providers need dirt cheap labor.
The reality is Congress can vote to spend $100 billion on the border, and Biden can sign it, and then the administration directs the agencies to sit on their hands. There is almost nothing Congress can do if the executive branch fails to act.
I suggested they could leverage Ukraine aid - allocate his $100 billion to Ukraine, but it can only be released $50 million at a time for every 5 miles of new border wall that is completed. Something like that. What Biden wants with more border money is to hire more agents to process immigrant paperwork - nothing to actually slow the flow of immigrants, drug mules, human smugglers, terrorists, and other criminals.
Trump handled the border with the tools available to Biden.
There doesn’t need to be more money for illegal immigration.
Trump will come in and deport millions (I hope).
AMEN to that!!!
