The good news from the University of New Hampshire poll of Granite State Republican Primary voters is that Ron DeSantis doesn’t have much further to fall ahead of the open contest Jan. 23.
The bad news is that he’s at 5%, behind Donald Trump (39%), Nikki Haley (32%), Chris Christie (12%) and Vivek Ramaswamy (8%). And given that only 40% of DeSantis’ supporters say they are “definitely decided,” the data suggests his hard support is around 2%.

The NH rats are all going to Haley. Ron has alienated the base about as much as he could. No small feat considering he had huge favorability with the base a year ago.
DeSantis is the most conservative candidate remaining, and the only social conservative remaining. I think that says something about the residents of New Hampshire.
I believe one tactical mistake DeSantis made was hiring consultants with the expectation that they were taking his money to help him win.
In reality, they were taking his money to make sure that all choices are deep-state choices, thus ensuring their ongoing cash flow when the DeSantis campaign is history.
You would be better off having shampoo salesmen run your campaign.
“DeSantis is the most conservative candidate remaining, and the only social conservative remaining.”
He’s also completely tone deaf politically. He’s done. Stick a fork in him.
L
no surprise to see this turd loser losing bad.
he destroyed any future chance to run.
warmonger globalist Nikki has McConnell money and will last longer but also lose badly...
#MAGA
The grifting and gaslighting will be over soon and hopefully DeSantis learns something from this and soon finds peace.

Ron has alienated no one. He smashed Newsom, and Haley will be leaving Friday’s debate with a bag over her head. We will see if RDS gets 5% (or 2%) in NH.
So long, it’s been bad to know ya.
So long, it’s been bad to know ya.
So long, it’s been bad to know ya
And the vox populi says go home, mind the store
After all, that’s what a governor’s for.
Ron should return to FL today and not leave the state for the rest of the year.
Ron has alienated no one.“
No one. Ok.
Absolutely surprising considering the goodwill he created by supporting MAGA and governing Florida as a conservative. His flip-flop on Ukraine funding put him in a deep hole as an apparent Globalist puppet and he’s been digging even deeper since then.
He’s done nationally forever and will likely become a lobbyist for Military contractors after his term expires.
DeSantis is a classic case of a political campaign run by highly-paid consultants.
“DeSantis is the most conservative candidate remaining, and the only social conservative remaining. I think that says something about the residents of New Hampshire.”
Point taken. Unfortunately, he also has terrible campaign advisors who come up with the dumbest statements for him. He should get out now and rebuild himself for next time. He can do plenty of good governing to rebuild his reputation in the meantime.
Right, he went wobbly on Ukraine and it turned into an avalanche.

________
New Hampshire has open primaries. Democrats and Independents have been tasked to crossover and vote Haley in the primaries.
In the beginning of his campaign, I agree with you.
So desantis could do even worse when NH comes around?
That would be hillarious if he’s down to 2-3 percent, when all the counting is done.
Who turned it into an avalanche? RDS is the most relaxed, non-panicked guy whom I have ever seen on the campaign trail.
